300 WOLVES - 8 runners - 3 places - 4 under 16/1 makes this another ideal place only race. Alas the market sees this as a great opportunity for Trumpington street to place - 1.1 - 4 under 16/1, 3 under 10/1 and Trumpington Street is odds on, and has all weather experience courtesy of Lingfield.

SHORTLIST OF THE SHORTLIST

Well Argentina must be bang in there. I hate friendlies but put into context this is near a major Tournament. Expect goals and stars to start.

Again we have an embarrasment of riches today with First Rounds of Major tournaments offering a lot of strong bets. I think the 2 I would take from this afternoon are Monfils against Bachinger and Hantuchova v Diatchenko. Although there are no head to heads, the gulfs in the rankings are such that the shorties should oblige if staying injury free.

as to Nadal, will he win in 3 straight sets? If so, then 1.17 looks worth backing, and so with Murray at 1.23, but we already know about how Murray somehow manages to make an easy victory look like a climb up Everest.

As to the horses, well the 300 WOLVES is just ideal, with Trumpington Street one of 3 under 10/1, 4 under 16/1 in a race where there are 3 places and 8 runners.

Galivant too looks ideally placed to, erm, place!
