No draw in 16 home matches. Recent home losses against 1st, 2nd 5th ,6th may make then vulnerable to 3rd in the league?

Have lost 5 of the last 7 matches against 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th - and what number ends this sequence? 3rd placed who they are playing today.
GOAL TRENDS - 5 of last 7 matches over 2.5 goals, the exceptions 2-0 scorelines.Geylang have scored in 5 of the last 6.

STREAKS - lack of draws is a huge streak as mentioned.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - SAF

RECENT AWAY FORM
Only 2 draws in 22 home matches enough to side with a lay the draw? Recent losses at home came against 1st, 4th and 5th.

No draw overall in 18 matches .7 wins in last 9. Only 2 losses against 1st and 2nd .

GOAL TRENDS - Last 9 matches overall have been over 2.5 goals. 8 of last 9 home matches have been over 2.5 goals.

STREAKS - again the draw streaks really stand out.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - mixed bag last 2 head to heads could make this a difficult game to predict.
No draw in 16 and home and 19 overall for Geylang may hint at either home or away win ( logically). And performances away against 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th ( all losses) makes SAF the logical choice. REcent losses against 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and playing 3rd today.
Only 2 draws in SAF's last 22 home matches may make this a lay the draw match? nO draw overall for SAF in 18 matches.
Obvious conclusions? Lay the draw and hope its scarcity continues. Infer from a lack of a draw that this is either a home/away win and go with the market and the fact SAF have only lost against 1st and 2nd recently, and Geylang have lost against 2nd , 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th and are playing 3rd today.

6pm -
FC Midtjylland v SonderjyskE - -1.57 home
HEAD TO HEADS
18.09.2011 D1 FC Midtjylland 2-0 SønderjyskE
09.05.2011 D1 FC Midtjylland 2-1 SønderjyskE
21.03.2011 D1 SønderjyskE 2-1 FC Midtjylland
19.09.2010 D1 SønderjyskE 0-2 FC Midtjylland
02.07.2010 CF SønderjyskE 1-0 FC Midtjylland
05.04.2010 D1 SønderjyskE 0-2 FC Midtjylland
Mid have won 3 of the last 4.

LEAGUE POSITION - 3rd v 9th after 13 matches. Copenhagen are not a distance clear as is normally the case so teams with a chance , such as Mid, must win their home matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Mid

RECENT HOME FORM - LWWWWWW - no draw at home this season.Loss came against 8th and playing 9th today.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - LWLWLWWLWWWWD - sole draw of season 1-1 v bottom of the league away from home. Losses came away against 1st, 4th and 6th.

GOAL TRENDS - 57% overs at home. Have scored in all home matches. 4 of last 5 matches under 2.5 goals.Have kept a clean sheet in 2 of last 3 matches and in 3 of last 5 matches.Have failed to score in only 2 matches, both away matches.

STREAKS - 6 match winning streak at home. Have scored in last 7 at home.No goal conceded in the last 3 home matches.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Sonder

RECENT AWAY FORM - WDDWLLW - losses away against 2nd and 3rd ( yes have already lost away this season to Mid away 2-0) - wins away against 7th, 11th and 12th ( bottom 2) so possibly flatter Sonder.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LWDWDDWLLDLWL - only 1 win in last 6 includes losses against 2nd, 3rd and 5th ( twice) - so again vulnerable to Mid, who they lost to only recently?

GOAL TRENDS - 43% overs away from home. 2 of 3 clean sheets this season kept at home. Have failed to score in 3 of last 5 matches.

STREAKS - no draw in 4 away. Have conceded in last 6 away.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS latest 2 head to heads see Mid winning, the last was this season a 2-0 win . Are they going to repeat this ? 6 match winning streak at home, and have won 6 of last 8 overall, Mid are in the winning groove. Although 57% overs at home, 3 of last 5 matches saw clean sheets for Mid which might scupper the overs. This is supported by the fact Mid have not conceded in last 3 home matches, all wins.
Recent away losses for Sonder against 2nd and 3rd ( yes today's opponents) - recent history obviously puts match in Mid's favour.Recent losses overall against 2nd, 3rd and 5th home and away again signals vulnerability against the better sides.
For me, this has the look of a 2-0 home win or something around that for Mid. We must acknowledge though that recent meetings can affect how the losing side reacts in the 2nd match.

6pm -
Fenerbahce v Karabukspor - 1.3 home
HEAD TO HEADS
08.05.2011 D1 Kardemir Karabükspor 0-1 Fenerbahçe SK
05.12.2010 D1 Fenerbahçe SK 2-1 Kardemir Karabükspor
Tight head to heads.
LEAGUE POSITION - 1st v 16th after 8 matches. Top 4 all on 18 or 17 points so matches, at home and when expected, should be turned into 3 points.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team- fenerbahce

RECENT HOME FORM - WDWD - wins against 3rd and 5th, draws against 7th and 17th.Draw against 17th was 0-0 and playing 16th today.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - WWDWWWDD - last draw was 2-2 away at Besiktas and not altogether unsurprising.

GOAL TRENDS - 3/4 home matches under 2.5 goals. 3 of last 4 matches overall over 2.5 goals. Have only failed to score in one match this season.

STREAKS - unbeaten this season.4 at home without defeat.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Kardemir

RECENT AWAY FORM - LLLD - drew 0-0 against the same side who Fener drew 0-0 to - inference that opponents excellent defensively? 2-1 twice and 3-1 once for the losses against 5th, 7th and 10th.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - WLDLLLWD - wins at home only. Have played 2nd and 3rd and home, drawing and winning, but away have not yet met any of top 4.

GOAL TRENDS - 75% overs away largely because they score and concede away, and concede more than they score!

STREAKS - no win in 4 away, have kept a clean sheet in last 2 matches but lost 3-1 away to 5th and 2-1 v 7th.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - head to heads are tight but Fener have got off to such a fine start to the season that they could be capable of an easier win today. Unbeaten at home and this season. One draw 0-0 seems to be against a team doing the 0-0 against others. General trend towards the win. 3 of last 4 matches overs but at home general unders trend. Fener have only failed to score once this season.
Kardemir have scored and conceded in all losses this season and this trend may lead to a naturalised over 2.5 goals. It also proves they can score, so if they score first, reactive traders take note.
Could lost 2-1, 3-1 today?

7pm -
Den Bosch v Emmen - 1.45 home
HEAD TO HEADS
22.04.2011 D2 FC Emmen 0-3 FC Den Bosch
01.10.2010 D2 FC Den Bosch 3-1 FC Emmen
02.04.2010 D2 FC Den Bosch 4-4 FC Emmen
21.08.2009 D2 FC Emmen 0-0 FC Den Bosch
The last 3 head to heads are what we expect from this league. Den Bosch have scored 4-3-3 in those 3 head to heads.
LEAGUE POSITION -- 14th v 17th after 10 matches indicates poor starts to the season for both.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Den Bosch.

RECENT HOME FORM - DDLDL =no win at home yet still short priced fav. Have played 4 of the current top 8 at home though so maybe that is the reason. Looks like easier opposition today.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - DDDWDLDLLW - wins against 3rd and 16th were away from home.Have not played any of the bottom 6 at home yet.

GOAL TRENDS - 40% overs at home.

STREAKS - 5 at home without a win.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Emmen

RECENT AWAY FORM - LLLLW - win against bottom side was a 0-1.Have conceded 3-2-4-3- against the other sides, including 4 and 3 against 13th and 16th,

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LDLLLLLLWD - -signs of a recovery?

GOAL TRENDS - 7/10 matches over 2.5 goals. 3 of last 4 matches over 2.5 goals.Have only kept a clean sheet in one match this season.

STREAKS - 5 away without a draw.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - so you want me to back a 1.45 shot which has not yet won at home, and has 2 wins all season. But this is Emmen they are playing. A 0-1 win against bottom side the only win this season, and conceded 3 and 4 against bottom sides away ( around Bosch's position in the league). If in doubt in Holland, overs normally comes in.

8pm -
Sevilla v Granada - 1.41 home
HEAD TO HEADS - no head to heads

LEAGUE POSITION - 5th v 20th and the same price as Spurs v QPR ( 3-1) so we have an inkling re what to expect.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - -Sevilla

RECENT HOME FORM - WWWWD - 2-1 v Malaga, 2 1-0 wins against Valencia and Sociedad, and 2-1 win over Gijon. 2-2 draw latest saw Sevilla equalise in the 90th minute. Have played 16th, 17th and 18th at home and are playing 20th ( bottom) today.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - WDWDWDWDD - unbeaten this season and unlikely that will end today. 3 0-0 draws away from home.

GOAL TRENDS - 60% overs at home. Have scored in all home matches.

STREAKS - 5 without defeat at home, scoring in all.No defeat in 9 overall.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Granada

RECENT AWAY FORM - LLLL - 0-1 and 0-4 losses to teams either side of Sevilla.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LLWLDLDLL - 4 1-0 loss scorelines indicate the potential for an ultra defensive set up .

GOAL TRENDS - have failed to score in 7 matches this season. Have kept a clean sheet in only 2 matches and they were both at home. All bar one match this season under 2.5 goals again recounts defensive attitude. Have conceded in all away matches.

STREAKS - no goal scored in 4, 4 match away losing streak.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - we have potential here, without going too indepth, for a Sevilla win to nil. Granada's defensive set up might limit the scoreline to 1-0, 2-0. 0-0 is also backable, we could argue, as a back to lay trade for as long as you dare, in the hope Granada park the bus for a good while in the first half.

8pm -
Stoke v Newcastle - 2.24 home
HEAD TO HEADS
19.03.2011 PR Stoke City 4-0 Newcastle Utd
26.09.2010 PR Newcastle Utd 1-2 Stoke City
11.04.2009 PR Stoke City 1-1 Newcastle Utd
Unlikely to be 4-0 again I feel! Stoke unbeaten in recent head to heads.
LEAGUE POSITION -11th v 4th after 9 matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Stoke

RECENT HOME FORM - DWDW - fortress Stoke indeed. 0-0 v Chelsea, 1-0 win over Liverpool. 1-1 v Man Utd and 2-0 win over Fulham with 2 80th+ minute goals. Positive results against 2nd, 3rd ( both draws) and 6th, and now playing 4th today. Any reason to expect a change from the successful home formula?

RECENT FORM OVERALL - DDWWLDLWL - Jekyll and Hyde home and away.

GOAL TRENDS - all unders at home, Stoke predominantly scoring a single goal and trying to keep a clean sheet. Only 2 matches overs all season were away from home against Sunderland and Arse.
Stoke have kept clean sheets in 3/4 home matches.
Stoke have failed to score in only 1 home match, and have scored in last 3 matches at home.

STREAKS - 4 without defeat at home. Have scored in last 3 home.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Newcastle howay the lads

RECENT AWAY FORM - WDDW - 0-1 win over Sunderland, 0-0 v QPR, 1-1- v Aston Villa and 1-2 win over Wolves. 3 under 2.5 goals ties in with Stoke at home.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - DWWDDWWDW - unbeaten this season hence the heady heights of the top 4. All wins have come across the current bottom 7 - a case of an easy early season fixture list?

GOAL TRENDS - 3/4 away matches under 2.5 goals. 3 of last 4 matches overall over 2.5 goals. Newcastle scored 2 in each match. But Stoke are a different proposition surely at home?

STREAKS - No defeat in 4, and in 9 overall.Prior to last 1-0 win, had scored and conceded in previous 4 matches.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - it doesn't take a nuclear physicist to tell you this has a big chance of finishing under 2.5 goals, and a likely 0-0, 0-1 ( either side) or 1-1.
Unbeaten runs will end eventually, and I suppose against a team such as Stoke, there is every chance Stoke will do a trademark shut out and nick it off Crouch's arse from a Rory Delap throw in the 96th minute.
0-0 back to lay trade seems an obvious starting point.

Sunday 30 October 2011

30/10

Man Plans, God Laughs. Sheff Utd v Exeter. A wonderful trading match for the reactive trader. I, for one, did not lose faith when the Blades were 0-2 down.

1230pm - Ingolstadt v Eintracht Frankfurt - 1.48 away
HEAD TO HEADS - no head to heads

LEAGUE POSITION - 18th of 18 v 2nd after 12 matches. I am surprised Eintracht are not shorter.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Ingolstadt

RECENT HOME FORM - DDWWL - have only played against bottom 10. Wins against 9th and 14th.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - LDLDLWLWLLLL - 7 losses have come away from home. Conceded 2,3,4 away including against 1st and 3rd.

GOAL TRENDS - last 8 over 2.5 goals , last 7 matches over 3.5 goals. 9 of last 10 matches over 2.5 goals. Have only kept one clean sheet this season.Score an average 2.2 and concede an average 1.8 at home.

STREAKS - 8 without a draw, have conceded in last 10 matches.Have scored and conceded in last 4 at home.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Eintracht Frankfurt

RECENT AWAY FORM - WWWDWW - -the draw was a 3-3 which saw Frankfurt go behind, scoring 3,3,3,4,2,4.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - WDWDWDDWWWW - unbeaten this season. 3 of the draws at home to top 5.

GOAL TRENDS - 84% overs away from home. Have scored in all away matches and nearly over 2.5 goals by themselves away. 3.17 scored and 1 conceded on average. Have only failed to score in 1 match.Have kept a clean sheet in last 2.
5 of last 6 matches over 2.5 goals, the exception was a 2-0 where 2nd match occured after 27th minute.

STREAKS - unbeaten this season. 5 match winning streak. 5 wins and a draw awy. Only failed to score less than 3 goals once away from home.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS
Ingolstadt are better at home than away. Away they have been spanked by top 10 - is this transferable when these top 10 visit? Very conclusive goals trends. Over 3.5 goals for Ingolstadt at home and nearly all over 3.5 goals away from Frankfurt. Goal trends is a neutral bet.

1pm -
Bursaspor v Manisaspor - 1.65 home
HEAD TO HEADS
23.04.2011 D1 Bursaspor 2-1 Manisaspor
20.11.2010 D1 Manisaspor 0-2 Bursaspor
14.03.2010 D1 Bursaspor 2-0 Manisaspor
03.10.2009 D1 Manisaspor 0-2 Bursaspor
Consistently scoring 2 goals in head to heads.
LEAGUE POSITION - 8th v 6th after 8 matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Bursaspor

RECENT HOME FORM - -WLWD - draw and loss against 2nd and 7th, wins against 10th and 12th both scoring 3+ goals and without conceding.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - WWLLWLDD - 2 of 3 losses away from home. Have struggled against current top 7, 2 draws and 2 losses. And playing another current top 7 side today

GOAL TRENDS - all matches over 1.5 goals. All bar last 2 matches over 2.5 goals. Those were 1-1 draws. Only failed to score in 1 match. Only kept a clean sheet in 2 matches. Have scored and conceded in the 4 matches played against top 7.

STREAKS - no win in 3 overall. 2 1-1 draw streak. Have scored in last 4.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Manisaspor

RECENT AWAY FORM - LDWW - 1-0 loss away to 3rd and 1-1 draw with top -wins away against 9th and 17th.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - DLDLWWWW - -2 losses have come against 3rd and 5th. 3 of wins came against bottom 3 sides

GOAL TRENDS - 25% overs across the board. 3 2-0 scorelines and 2 1-1 scorelines are the reasons behind the poor over 2.5 goals %'s - 2 consecutive clean sheets last 2 matches the only ones this season. Have scored 2 goals in last 4 matches, all wins, but remember 3 were against bottom 3.

STREAKS - 4 match winning streak, 2 matches without conceding, scored 2 goals in 4 consecutive matches. 5 without a draw.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - the head to heads point to consistency re goalscoring and winning from Bursaspor ( 2 goals in each of last 4). Against top 7, Bursaspor have not won .Again playing top 7 today. 2 of 3 losses for Bursaspor occured away from home. Greater likelihood then that they will get a result of some kind today. All matches over 1.5 gals but a good chance for over 2.5 goals for Bursaspor as they score and concede regularly against top 7 sides.
Loss and draw for Manisaspor against top 7 sides, hints at vulnerability to another top 7 side?
4 match winning streak but note that 3 of those wins against bottom 3 sides so flatter to decieve.
25% overs down largely to 1-1's and 2-0's so again a strong over 1.5 goals trend at least.
A feeling that Bursaspor can get something here. Neutral bet? Over 1.5 goals looks safe, over 2.5 goals dependent on time of a 2nd goal.

230pm -
FC Koln v Augsburg - 2.02 home
HEAD TO HEADS
10.02.2010 Cup FC Augsburg 2-0 1.FC Köln
07.05.2008 D2 FC Augsburg 1-3 1.FC Köln
Augsburg I think are newly promoted. I include this match as Koln are Keeganesque in their goalscores.
LEAGUE POSITION - 12th v 16th after 10 matches so not the best starts for either side.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Koln

RECENT HOME FORM - LDLWW - wins against 7th and 9th , both 2-0's yet struggle against 11th, 13th and 14th in a league of 18.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - LLDWLWWLWL - only one draw this season relates the Keeganeque Koln, they either win or lose. Last 2 losses away losses against 3rd and 10th.

GOAL TRENDS - 7 of last 10 matches over 2.5 goals. The others were 1-1 and 2 2-0 wins. Total goals scored in matches - 3,6,2,7,3,5,2,3,2,5 - some games have a large goal count.have kept a clean sheet in only 2 matches this season. Have failed to score in 3, and last 2 away matches

STREAKS - 2 match home winning streak. 7 overall without a draw. Have kept a clean sheet in last 2.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Augsburg

RECENT AWAY FORM - DLDLW - 4-0 loss to 3rd, 2-2 v 10th, 1-0 loss v 13th, 1-1 v 14th and 0-1 v Mainz. A gradual progression of fewer goals the further down the league positions Augsburg get. This does not, though, fit into the Koln profile, but might signal a 2 goal match ?

RECENT OVERALL FORM - DDLLLDDLWD - -single win came last match - 4 of 5 matches were score draws.

GOAL TRENDS - 40% overs overall. have kept 2 clean sheets only this season. Have failed to score in 2 of last 4

STREAKS - no defeat in 2 overall

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - no relevant head to heads add some element of unpredictability. Koln seem to struggle at home to lower league position sides, of which Augsburg is one.Only one draw this season may be an angle in but Augsburg have had 5 draws. Tough to read goal trends, Koln definitely over 1.5 goals and some matches can be goalfests, but Augsburg's matches become ever tighter with fewer goals the nearer the bottom of the league their opponents get.

3pm -
Young Boys v Lausanne - 1.23 home - I researched Lausanne last time out and although this is a poor trading league ( 10 teams only), it may be worth doing games involving Lausanne.

HEAD TO HEADS
11.09.2011 D1 Lausanne-Sport 0-3 BSC Young Boys
15.01.2011 CF BSC Young Boys 3-1 Lausanne-Sport
23.06.2010 CF BSC Young Boys 3-3 Lausanne-Sport
2 of last 3 matches friendlies but Young Boys have scored 3 in each of the matches. Lausanne are newcomers to this league of 10 sides.
LEAGUE POSITION - -4th v 10th after 13 matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Young Boys

RECENT HOME FORM - DDLLWWL - losses against 6th, 8th and 9th. Another side having trouble against bottom sides.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - DWDDWLLWWWWLD - recent loss was 0-1 v 9th at home.

GOAL TRENDS - 28.6% overs at home. Last 2 home matches have been 1-0 win and 1-0 loss. Only 2 goals scored in last 3 matches. Young Boys have kept clean sheets in 2 of last 3 matches. Young Boys have failed to score in last 2.

STREAKS - 5 at home without a draw. Have failed to score in last 2.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Lausanne

RECENT AWAY FORM - LLLDLLL - draw was 2-2 against 6th

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LWLLLLDLLDLWL - 2 wins at home - have lost 6/8 matches home and away against top 4 sides.

GOAL TRENDS - have failed to score in 6 losses against top 4 home and away.57% overs away from home. Last 4 matches under 2.5 goals. Have only kept a clean sheet in 2 matches. Have failed to score in 5 of the last 6 matches. Have conceded in all away matches.

STREAKS - -have conceded in lat 7 away. No win in 7 away. Have failed to score in 3 away matches.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - What do we make of Young Boys struggles against 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th at home - 3 losses and a draw?
But then, what do we make of Lausanne losing 6 of 8 matches home and away against top 4 without scoring? That could be the clincher? Goal trends are for unders so far for both sides.

4pm -
Tottenham v QPR - 1.4 home - can QPR win another London Derby, innit? The market makers don't think so.
HEAD TO HEADS - no head to heads, and as was seen with Chelsea last week, when teams meet for the first time, things may not go as expected.

LEAGUE POSITION - 6th v 12th. Spurs have played 8 matches, QPR 9 matches, and every one else around 10 matches. Spurs can go 3rd if winning those 2 matches in hand.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team TOTTENHAM - have an away Europa league fixture against Rubin KAzan on 3rd November, and it seems clear 'Arry has prioritised the Premiership.

RECENT HOME FORM - LWW - loss against City and beat Liverpool and Arsenal scoring 4 and 2.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - LLWWWWDW - solid recent form from Spuds after losing to both Manchester sides. This infers that they should cope well with QPR. Losses and draws against 1st, 2nd and 4th.

GOAL TRENDS - 7 of 8 matches over 2.5 goals, the exception was a 2-0 v Wolves.Have scored and conceded in last 4 matches. Have scored 2-4-2-2-2-2 in last 6 matches. Have not played any of 8th-16th so we cannot gauge how Spurs perform against teams near QPR's.Have only failed to score against Man Utd. All home matches over 2.5 goals.

STREAKS - no defeat in 6 overall. Have scored in last 7 matches. Have conceded in last 4 matches. Current winning streak of 2 at home.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - QPR

RECENT AWAY FORM - WLWL - no draw away this season. Wins against Everton and Wolves without conceding and losses v Wigan and Fulham without scoring. Any coincidence these away matches against bottom 6.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LWLDWDLDW - inconsistent form sees no sequences at all.

GOAL TRENDS - 50/50 overs away from home reliant then on opponents on the day?
3 of last 4 matches under 2.5 goals but the exception a 6-0 drubbing by Fulham. Have conceded in 3 of last 4. This new found defensive solidity brought about a 1-0 win over Chelsea at home.
Have failed to score in the 2 away losses.

STREAKS - 4 matches without a draw away. No defeat in 2 overall.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - no head to heads and I warned last time v Chelsea that this could spring a surprise and indeed it did. The win was c/o a penalty so a sign that QPR were redundant from open play against Chelsea.
Spurs are a different proposition I feel - 5 wins in last 6, scoring 2 goals on each occasion and a feeling that QPR will have trouble keeping Spuds out. QPR have largely played bottom 6 sides away and they are yet to meet real contenders. This looks Spurs to lose and it is a stretch of the imagination to think QPR can beat another London side.
Niggles? London Derby innit can engender above par performances.
Teams that have not met before can also be difficult to gauge. Instinctually though I feel Spurs ( of not shuffling the pack with the Europa league match) should continue scoring 2+ goals.

5pm -
Besiktas v Sivasspor - 1.53 home
HEAD TO HEADS
02.04.2011 D1 Sivasspor 1-0 Besiktas JK
07.01.2011 CF Sivasspor 2-2 Besiktas JK
31.10.2010 D1 Besiktas JK 2-1 Sivasspor
24.04.2010 D1 Besiktas JK 2-2 Sivasspor
29.11.2009 D1 Sivasspor 0-1 Besiktas JK
So Besiktas have been unable to win in 3 of last 4 head to heads.
LEAGUE POSITION - 7th v 11th after 8 matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Besiktas have a Europa League match on 3rd November.

RECENT HOME FORM - WWLD - loss against current 12th. Wins against current 14th -18th. Draw 2-2 v Fenerbahce

RECENT FORM OVERALL - LWWWDLWD - losses against 9th and 12th

GOAL TRENDS - 50/50 overs overall. 4 of last 5 matches under 2.5 goals. Have kept a clean sheet in 3 of last 5.

STREAKS - no win in 2 at home.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Sivasspor

RECENT AWAY FORM - LWDL - win against bottom side and draw against 14th. Have only played bottom 7 away so far this season.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LLWWDDLW - all matches this season against outside the bottom 8.

GOAL TRENDS - 100% overs away from home. Conceded an average 2.75 away. 6 over 2.5 goals matches ended with 2 consecutive under 2.5 goal home matches. HAve scored and conceded in last 4 away matches.

STREAKS - as above

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - DW for Besiktas at home in head to heads, scoring 2 minimum. I am afraid there is nothing here really for me to get an angle into so I will leave this match alone.

5pm -
OB v FC Copenhagen - 2.32 away - Copenhagen have been wobbling of late, and the consistency I wanted to see is not materialising. For consistency, see Porto.
HEAD TO HEADS
23.07.2011 D1 FC København 2-2 Odense BK
25.05.2011 D1 Odense BK 3-0 FC København
17.10.2010 D1 FC København 5-0 Odense BK
08.08.2010 D1 Odense BK 2-3 FC København
01.04.2010 D1 FC København 2-0 Odense BK
It would seem neutral goals may be the way to go with Odense winning and drawing last 2 matches and previously Copenhagen winning previous 3.
LEAGUE POSITION - 7th v 1st after 13 matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - OB

RECENT HOME FORM - WWWLLW - no draw at home yet for OB. Losses against 3rd and 9th

RECENT FORM OVERALL - WDDWLWLWLLWDL - only 1 win in last 5 matches.

GOAL TRENDS - 2-2-3-2-1-2 scored by OB at home so far. - 11 of last 12 matches over 2.5 goals.Have only failed to score in 1 match this season and only kept a clean sheet in 2 this season.

STREAKS - Have scored and conceded in last 5 at home. 6 at home without a draw.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Copenhagen.

RECENT AWAY FORM - WWWWWL - 2-0 loss v Horsens last match ( current 4th in the league)

RECENT OVERALL FORM -WDWWWWWWWWDLL - are COpenhagen vulnerable last 3 matches? HAve conceded 1-2-3 in last 3 matches. Losses against 2nd and 4th any coincidence?

GOAL TRENDS - 33% overs at home. A surprise. Only 2 of last 4 matches over 2.5 goals. HAve failed to score in only 1 match this season.Have conceded in last 4 matches.

STREAKS - 6 away without a draw. Have conceded in last 4 matches.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - the key to this match is in how much we read into a draw and 2 losses for Copenhagen. Losses were against 2nd and 4th and playing 7th today. No draw in 6 home matches for OB. OB score 2 consistently at home but Copenhagen have 33% overs away from home. Both sides have failed to score in only 1 match this season - enough for us to go with overs?

530pm -
PAOK v Panathinaikos - 2.78 home - worth investigating as Pana are one of the 2 main sides in Greece and if nearly 2/1 then it is interesting to see if there is any strong form for them.
HEAD TO HEADS
22.05.2011 D1PO Panathinaikos 1-0 PAOK Salonica
08.05.2011 D1PO PAOK Salonica 2-1 Panathinaikos
06.02.2011 D1 PAOK Salonica 0-1 Panathinaikos
16.10.2010 D1 Panathinaikos 1-0 PAOK Salonica
21.02.2010 D1 PAOK Salonica 2-1 Panathinaikos
Play offs unique matches? Typically Greek fare this, a 1-0 either side likely judging by the odds.
LEAGUE POSITION - 3rd v 4th but Pana have played 5 matches to PAOK's 7!Pana go top if winning the 2 matches in hand. They are thus in a false league position and could conceivably be higher.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - PAOK - have a Europa League match against Shamrock Rovers on 3rd November. Likely to be an easy assignment.

RECENT HOME FORM - WWD - 1-0, 3-0 and 0-0. - have not conceded at home yet. 2 very typically Greek scorelines.Have yet to play the top 5 at home.

RECENT FORM OVERALL - WLWWLDD - both losses away, 1 was 2-1 v Olympiakos. 2 recent draws against 7th and 11th.

GOAL TRENDS - 2/3 under 2.5 goals at home.Have failed to score in only 1 matches.

STREAKS - 3 at home without defeat. Have kept 3 clean sheets.

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Panathanaikos

RECENT AWAY FORM - WDW -scoring 2-1-3.Draw against current top side and wins against 10th and 14th. Have only played 1 match away to top 7.

RECENT OVERALL FORM -WWDWW - -sole dropped points against current top side.

GOAL TRENDS - -3 of last 4 matches over 2.5 goals. Have scored in all matches this season.

STREAKS - no defeat in 5. Have scored in all of last 5.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - head to heads point to a typically greek 0-0 or 1-0 to whichever side is lucky enough to score. BUT Pana have scored 2-3-3-4 this season in 4 matches.
But PAOK have not conceded at home this season ( albeit 3 matches only). I would personally side with Panathanaikos here at good odds to hopefully open the scoring. Remember Pana are higher in the league having played 2 fewer matches.
Speculators? Hope for a typically tight affair and 0-0 back to lay

7pm -

03.10.2009 D1 Atlético Madrid 2-1 Real Zaragoza
last 3 head to heads very tight, but remember this is post transfer market. Bye Bye Aguero and Forlan.

STREAKS - 4 away without a win. Have conceded in last 3 away.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - Madrid unbeaten in last 3, with 2 1-0 wins last 2. Will post transfer match be as tight as pre transfer?Madrid are unbeaten at home. 3 losses all away came against likely sides. 5 overall without a win, though, might make them vulnerable?
Zaragoza have lost away to 9th and 11th, and are playing 12th today. They conceded 3 and 4.

7pm -
Deportivo v Girona - 1.46 home
HEAD TO HEADS
07.09.2011 Cup Deportivo La Coruña 5-1 Girona FC

AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Girona

RECENT AWAY FORM - DLLDL - draws were both 2-2 draws

RECENT OVERALL FORM - LDDLWLDDLL - only 1 win this season should put the ball in Deportivo's court? That win came at home against current 5th in the league. All draws score draws.

GOAL TRENDS - -only 1 of last 4 over 2.5 goals. Have conceded in all matches this season. Have failed to score in last 2 defeats. Have conceded 2 goals in 4 of 5 away matches.

STREAKS - no win in 5 away. HAve conceded in last 10 matches.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - cup head to heads are emphatic but how did the teams line up?
Deportivo - sole loss at home 0-1 against current leaders. 3 losses overall were away.
Girona - no wins away this season. Only 1 win all season. All draws score draws.
GOALS - 6 of last 8 Deportivo matches over 2.5 goals, the exceptions 2-0's
Girona have conceded 2 goals in 4 out of 5 away matches. All of Girona's draws score draws. Looks like an over 2.5 goals bias here?
Conclusion? - -over 2.5 goals bias. Girona could conceivably concede 2 away again? Best case for them a draw? If so, all draws have been score draws.

7pm -
Rosenborg v Brann - 1.4 home

Last 2 head to heads very tight. At home, only 1 recent head to head an emphatic win.
LEAGUE POSITION - 3rd v 5th after 27 matches.

HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Rosenborg - a win takes them 2nd.

RECENT HOME FORM - WWWWWWWDW - great recent form. draw was v 9th. Have beaten 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th at home, and playing 5th today. Did not concede against 4th and 6th.

Brann - draw and a loss against 1st and 2nd away, conceding 2 and 4 and are playing 3rd today.Last 3 wins all come at home.

Conclusion - strong goal trends for home side at home and away side away. Rosenborg have the winning thread at home and that cannot be dismissed. HAve beaten all the top 6 at home this season. Why should this end against 5th today?

815pm -
Feirense v Sp Lisbon - 1.53 away - Feirense are the 0-0 kings at home, shutting out Porto, Pacos and Nacional. Will this continue?
HEAD TO HEADS - no recent head to heads

RECENT FORM OVERALL - DLDWDLDL - only one win this season v 7th away from home. All draws at home. Have conceded 3 against 2nd and 3rd albeit away from home.

GOAL TRENDS - 25% overs at home quite obviously. Have these 0-0's been purged by the 2-2 recently at home?Have conceded in 4 of the last 5. Have failed to score in 5 matches this season, including 3 of the last 4 matches.

STREAKS - 4 match drawing streak at home. No win in 4 overall. DLL against top 3 met so far, meeting 4th today.

RECENT AWAY FORM - DWWW - 0-0 v Beira a sign that Feirense's tactics might work? 2 2-3 wins against 11th and 15th and a 0-1 win against bottom.Sporting are playing bottom 7 again away and seem to be in their comfort zone.

RECENT OVERALL FORM - DDLWWWWW - sole loss v 5th was another 2-3 home loss. 5 match winning streak against 8th, 9th, 11th, 15th and 16th ( 16th = bottom). Playing 12th today)

GOAL TRENDS - 50/50 overs away from home.5 of the last 6 matches over 2.5 goals. Have kept a clean sheet in 2 of last 3 and failed to score in only 1 this season.

STREAKS - 5 match winning streak, 3 away, 6 without a draw, have scored in last 6.

CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS -- best case for Feirense is a draw. 0-0 cover incase? Or has that been put to bed with recent 2-2? I would look to back Sporting and a 0-0 cover if it is viable. Tough to call the goals as we have seen what Feirense did to Porto!
