20/4

Super foremen placed, Starzaan won, Greenhope unplaced, a massive £1 loss on the 22o Bangor,
nice win for Leos Pride under Weld/Smullen, Age of Chivalry unplaced, Charlotte Bronte won - Murtagh on board was significant. Nahoodh unplaced. Loveofmylife oh so close to placing at 10/1
Big timer 2nd at 8/1. Desparate Dan won albeit at 2/5. The massive market move for Hollander was entirly justified as he won at 13/2

Good profit in the footy. I tried to download a vidoe to show you the dutching bets, alas it didn't upload - would have showed the half time score dtch in the Arsenal match which included the 2-0! - Gutted

My selections for the treble didn't come off so it'll have to be loss retrieval for the next bet
Sevilla -4/7 LOST
Fiorentina 4/7 WIN
Auxerre 1/2 DRAW
Bayern Munich 8/15DRAW
barcelona 1/2 DRAW
Ross County 4/7 WIN
Banik Osrtava 4/11 WIN
Hamilton 1/3 WIN
Celtic 3/10 WIN
Torquay 4/7 DRAW
Histon 8/15 WIN
Wycombe 4/9 WIN
Rochdale 4/7 WIN
Swansea 4/7 LOSE
Arsenal 1/3 WIN

Interesting results - profit all about correct selections!

New meeting at Great LEighs today - a watching brief for me

300 LEOPARDSTOWn
Luxor for weld/smullen each way
335 Tian Shan each way for the above partnership
435
Winchester, Bashikirov and William Hogarth each way

These Irish bets are expereiments so I'll not be staking proper money - I want to see if backing Aiden O'Brien and Weld/Smullen horses each way will pay off

STRATFORD
230
BETTING FORECAST: 10/11 Quickbeam, 6/1 The Accordion Man, 7/1 Archduke Ferdinand, Pickamus, 12/1 Padalko, 14/1 Dalyan Dancer, Earcomesthedream, 16/1 Silly Wupple, 20/1 Trinity Rose, 25/1 Omix D´Or, 50/1 My Nicole, 100/1 Bitta Dash, King Rocky, Orion Star, Shammy Buskins ,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: QUICKBEAM (nap) sets a useful standard for the others to aim at and he's likely to take plenty of pegging back on a course that will play to his strengths. Former pointer The Accordion Man probably won't come into his own until tackling fences but he's rated a more likely threat than Pickamus, whose jumping still looked a bit sloppy last time.[DH]

Pickamus each way for me although Quickbeam has the profile of a HTB/Price gapper

BETTING FORECAST: 5/6 Albinus, 4/1 Prince Du Seuil, 7/1 Ghallab, 8/1 Cornas, 10/1 Stagehand, 14/1 Hum The Tune, 20/1 Head To Kerry, Spirit Of Lake, 33/1 Eva Soneva So Fast, 50/1 Nolton Town, 66/1 Alasao, Camden Four, Santinho, 200/1 Grey Topper, Henry Holmes, Marlowe ,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: ALBINUS (nap) ran a blinder in a valuable handicap last time and that effort makes him clearly the one to beat for a trainer in great form. Prince Du Seuil is the obvious choice for the forecas

Clear HTB selection in Albinus -preference for place only albeit at poor odds - chance the win if you want

FOOTY
More selections for the treble - I won't think about these ones , hjust select them based on price

TWENTE 1/3
FEYENOORD - 1/2
PARMA 4/7
VILLAREAL - 4/7

Again a choice between PArma and Villareal - both poor at present and not, for me, 4/7 shots! - I'll go Parma for no reason at all other than I have to make a decision!

So treble on Twente, Feyenoord, Parma with loss retrieval looking to win target profit and lost stake from yesterday.

My personal opinion? - 4/7 shots are not gimme's

2 derbies today and I'll steer clear as they're difficult to read at this time of year. We have NEwcastle with 3 up but Sunderland need to keep it tight, but the 3 musketeeers failed to deliver last time.
There should be plenty of goal action and I may consider over 2.5 goal trading but not with any real confidence

RAngers should beat St Johnstone today - they have to really to keep the pressure on Celtic who won yesterday. Rangers/Rangers and Draw Rangers half time full time the best bet for me. Over 2.5 goals may not oblige as Rangers may score 2 to no reply as they have done in the past.

I'm going to have a quiet day today to be honest with a good day yesterday getting back some of the losses from earlier blogs in the week gone.

FOOTY
0-0 LE HAvre last night but i'm well up on football this season

First game of the day sees the Arse play Reading at Home - Arsenal results at home -they score 1 or they score 3!
Over 2.5 goals at 1.73 looks worth support .
Half time score - I'm in a speculative mood

Liverpool have lost their last 2 at the Cottage BUT a look at the team sheet and it was VERY different - no Torres ! Fulham are fighting for their lives and Liverpool have been helped by Everton's inability to win mid week to heap pressure on 4th place. Roy Hodgson has the prayer mat out hoping for an under par Liverpool performance.
Brian McBride to score anytime at 4.6 is a reasonable investment.
This is a tricky one to call despite the obviously better personnel in the Liverpool ranks, BUT when your backs are against the wall there can be surprises.

Half time score 0-0, 1-0, 0-1 looks a decent investment

Bolton haven't scored away in their last 3 and, like Fulham, really NEED A WIN FULL STOP!.
Boro have hardly been setting the world alight but have shown improvement. Alfonso Alves looks highly impressive and at 6 is a decent price for first goalscorer although safer the 2.68 for score anytime.

End of season -MUSTN'T concede -under 2.5 goals looks a good trade

Wigan at home can only mean one thing - under 2.5 goals under "good game good game " Brucey
bt last 6 games head to head have had 2.5 goals or more!. )again Bruce wasn't in charge in a number of them) - I'll chance under 2.5 goals given the time of the season again to trade

Celtic bounced back to form last 2 games and should overcome Aberdeen at home tonight if midweek exersions havent taken their toll

Level stakes Celtic/Celtic and Draw /Celtic loads profit on the draw/celtic with a £1 loss on the double
Falkirk must be backed against Gretna whose squad comprises the bloke who sells half time burgers upfront, Bill the coach driver in midfield, and Mrs Miggins from Gretna Town centre back - yes they are decimated.
Perhaps a double with Celtic?

TREBLE BET
You know the one I mentioned in the eletter
2 x 1/2 and 1 x 1/3 produces a 2/1 bet (home teams only)

1/2's and 1/3's (or derivatives of)
Sevilla -4/7
Fiorentina 4/7
Auxerre 1/2
Bayern Munich 8/15
barcelona 1/2
Ross County 4/7
Banik Osrtava 4/11
Hamilton 1/3
Celtic 3/10
Torquay 4/7
Histon 8/15
Wycombe 4/9
Rochdale 4/7
Swansea 4/7
Arsenal 1/3

Immediately I'll leave the Blue Square games alone as they are very unpredictable
Celtic will be my 1/3 selections because they are back in form in their last 2 games, and NEED to win to keep the pressure on Rangers for the SPL title. Barcelona at 1/2 face an Espanyol side which is not firing and is poor on the road. Not a team to trust though, Barca but the best of the above 1/2 shots
Metz have not won in their last 6 and Auxerre are 1/2 at home but have not been the best. The hope is home advantage can secure a win

So these are the 3 for the 2/1 treble - let's see if the system works

I tried to upload a video showing the dutching bets but it has had trouble uploading
