13/4

TAmborine Ridge 2nd for each way backers as was Adroit Approach - ggreat start to the day if one of them had won as I'd have quit there! It was great to get Dhammann meet as the punters were having plenty of the 11/10 and he was 4th in the end - you see it's worth taking on mulitple winners in whatever racetype.
The football's profit was determined by the sharpness of your trading. First, though, well done to Bolton. Everton were layable and I kept faith in Brum despite the Evertonians taking the lead
I reversed out in the Villa game as the first goal came early and I took the hit. I had to laugh - under 2.5 goals - ends 6-0 - 3-0 at half time - LOL!
75th minute 1-0 City - it was all going like clockwork and a nice 9/1 payout awaited and then a goal avalanche - I should have added the caveat that if City scored first to trade out as Sunderland were at home. I suspect if Sunderland scored first the 1-0 could have been better protected. Anyway big odds meant smaller stakes and no great loss.
City's 1-0 was tradeable for thos with the foresight to do so as the odds reduced dramatically
Lyon match - my key words yesterday - early goal would be nice - that came in the 16th minute and I reversed out. West BRom game - 2nd goal in 49th minute meant an ideal green screen with half the match left and market makers expecting a 3rd goal.
See the advantage of trading - what we expect to happen need not happen in the 90 minute market, BUT the hint that it may happen during the match is enough.

Brighton a tricky card- heavy ground at the Curragh makes it tough - the 245 sees Aiden O'Brien go mob handed and Queen of the night is a debutant and a likely short price and I will take a chance and lay because of the ground (heavy),field size(18) and some likely sorts in opposition

BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 Macarthur, 4/1 Red Moloney, 9/2 Deauville Vision, 5/1 Alarazi, Profound Beauty, 12/1 Mooretown Lady, 20/1 Arkadina, Baron De´L.

211 days off for O'Brien's Macarthur -brother of Motivator - enough of a concern? Again the heavy ground is the question mark

A saver bet could be US Ranger here - another talking horse at odds against at present
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 US Ranger, 7/2 Major Cadeaux, 11/2 Honoured Guest, 7/1 Jumbajukiba, 10/1 Captain Marvelous, 12/1 Crooked Throw, Excelerate, Lady Grace, 14/1 Grecian Dancer.

Major danger is MAjor Cadeaux. I will chance US Ranger here as long as he remains the right side of evens.

For those who think heavy ground will be a leveller, well, like I did successfully at Tipperary earlier in the week, perhaps lay the shorties- although I'd be very wary about laying Ballydoyle representatives!

HEAVY at Kelso
A card where I will look to lay shorties here over long distances and monitor in running - unlike the Curragh, we have generally long distance races over obstacles in ground that will sap energy

Not a day to get heavily involved with the ,erm, heavy ground a significant factor.

FOOTY
Will the pressure tell today for wee Ginger Strachan? A loss at Motherwell and it's bye bye for Strachan I feel, so I'll look to back Celtic at 8/11 - not something you can do every week. I'm expecting another poor performance but I just hope pressure leads to results
Liverpool's game is one I will have to approach nearer the off. With Everton drawing yesterday Liverpool still hold pole position for 4th place and, yes, a win today will consolidate that. I feel Rafa may change the squad significantly so I'll need to see its strength. Blackburn are a team with NOWT to play for but I doubt MArk Hughes will have them in holiday mode just yet!
Expectation is for a drab affair with few goals and an early under 2.5 goals trade could pay off in the early part of the first half.

MAn Utd look to have a distinct advantage over a stuttering Arse. I will lay the Arse here and hope UNITED score first. Alternatively you can back United and trade out if they score first. I always like to cover the draw.
A QUIET day really for me today with heavy ground a concern and team selection a problem with the footy
