25/11

Merrydown placed

Bit late today - broadband isses
100 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 8/13 Divali Princess, 4/1 Southern Exit, 6/1 White Moss, 10/1 Worbarrow Bay, 14/1 Super Martina, 20/1 Tiger Moss, 33/1 Aisatsu, One Dream, 100/1 Commanche Dawn, Freeze The Dream, Princesse De Mee, Sur La Valise .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Southern Exit has her third crack at DIVALI PRINCESS but, even with McCoy on her side, there's no obvious reason why she should gain revenge on Alan King's filly.
Slight move for Worbarrow Bay and One dream if it hits 20/1 would be of interest - 4 horses at 100/1 or bigger makes life easier for the principals
Soft ground a concern bt fav is a distance winner and likes soft 1.76 / 1.15

200
BETTING FORECAST: 4/5 Little Josh, 4/1 Rebeccas Choice, 7/1 Lennox Gardens, 12/1 Carmond, Chaim, 16/1 Thirtythreeblack, 20/1 Could Be Alright, 100/1 How Are You Going .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Dual bumper winner LITTLE JOSH (nap) appears to face nothing of the calibre of his Chepstow conqueror Pride Of Dulcote and has an obvious opportunity to go one better. Rebeccas Choice may be the one to follow him home.[

The dead 8 so 3 the place - Chaim the mover and one clear otsider 1.54 / 1.1

120 SEDG
BETTING FORECAST: 2/7 Silk Drum, 5/1 We´Re Delighted, 8/1 When Yer Ready, 14/1 Dry Speedfit, 66/1 Cheviot Red .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: SILK DRUM ran well despite making a couple of notable errors in much stronger company at Wetherby and, barring any serious accidents, he should make his record over hurdles 2-3. We'Re Delighted could be the one to chase him home

Looks a 2 horse race here 1.26 / 1.08

Juvenile novices on soft

150
BETTING FORECAST: 15/8 Sorrento Moon, 3/1 Leprechaun´s Gold, 11/2 Just Posh, 7/1 Viscount Rossini, 9/1 Nevsky Bridge, 11/1 Shade Bonny, 14/1 Troys Steps, 16/1 Miss Champagne, 33/1 Cadeaux Singer .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: SORRENTO MOON makes the most appeal given that she's had far fewer chances than most and has already beaten a few of these. Leprechaun's Gold is also considered given he seems likely to give his running at the very least.

Sharp contrast with live market wh has it 7/2 the field with Sorrento Moon at 4/1

110 SOUTHWELL
BETTING FORECAST: 11/8 Kinigi, 3/1 Smalljohn, 8/1 Rose Of Coma, Svindal, 9/1 Courageous Nature, 12/1 Paint Splash, 16/1 First Hand, 25/1 Frame And Cover, 33/1 Rio Gael, 50/1 Lonsdale Lad .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Kinigi has been put in on a very competitive weight by connections and has obvious claims on her recent C&D effort, but SMALLJOHN is a useful performer in this grade and might be difficult to peg back round here if handling the surface.[

2 clear market leaders and a price gap to 3rd
2 year old claimer not the most solid of races
2.34/1.22
3.35/1.46

BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Shiwawa, 3/1 West With The Wind, 7/1 Fly With The Stars, Sixth Zak, 14/1 Mugs Game, 20/1 Colourful Move, 25/1 Miracle Steps, 33/1 Goodnight Dick, Tomorrow´s World, 50/1 Able Dara, Charlie Green, 100/1 Aggi Mac .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: No surprise if SHIWAWA becomes the latest in a long line of smart Alan Swinbank bumper horses to prove a useful Flat performer, and he has been found an uncompetitive-looking event for his debut. The disappointing West With The Wind might be suited by this track and looks the biggest danger

Now 5/6 -always encouraging - Mugs game is the market mover here and West with the wind 5/2 1.99 / 1.22
6 horses at 25/1 or bigger

A day where soft ground may play a part over the jumps
Obviousl contender for my one a day is Silk Drum 1.08 to place -compare to Little Josh 1.1 to place in a 3 the place race. A lot of money has come in for Little Josh
I suspect if Divali Princess stays upright, she should place
So a choice -SIlk Drum is worth risking in the win market at 1.26 but of course 1.08 although stingy is safer for 2 places.COncern over jumping though as mentioned in spotlight
Little Josh for me then at 1.1 for 3 places
