22/11

Again I was very pleased with the analysis yesterday which I thought was very accurate

120 ASCOT
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Jack The Giant, 9/2 Andreas, 11/2 Bleu Superbe, 7/1 Leslingtaylor, 15/2 Howle Hill, Lord Henry, 9/1 Enlightenment, 25/1 Orpen Wide.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Not the strongest of races for the money on offer and it is a decent opportunity for JACK THE GIANT to scoop another big pot at Ascot, having taken the Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle here last December. A smart novice chaser two seasons ago, Jack The Giant almost certainly has more to offer over fences and is fancied to prove too strong for Leslingtaylor, who may be the pick of the others.

Fav hardened to 11/10 - good sign -8 runners - 3 to place 2.16 / 1.32

155 ASCOT
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Crack Away Jack, 11/4 Chomba Womba, 7/2 Elusive Dream, 8/1 Franchoek, 25/1 Lough Derg, 50/1 Kawagino, 66/1 Alph, 150/1 Bullhill Flyer.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: CHOMBA WOMBA was smart last season but looked to have come on again when winning well on her reappearance at Wincanton this month, a performance which sets a high standard here. Crack Away Jack's relentless improvement over hurdles means that he commands considerable respect as the main danger even though winning this will necessitate another step forward. Elusive Dream is best of the rest

8 runners - 4 clear outsiders leaves4 fighting for 3 places
2.42 / 1.29

140 HAYDOCK
BETTING FORECAST: 2/11 Binocular, 8/1 Los Nadis, 9/1 Lazy Darren, 33/1 Chord, 100/1 Crosby Jemma.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: There will be some long faces among those holding ante-post vouchers about BINOCULAR for the Champion Hurdle if Nicky Henderson's star novice of last season comes unstuck here, but that is most unlikely. Lazy Darren might just edge Los Nadis out of second.

Now 1/7 so really hardened at head of market
1.14 / 1.07

215 HAYDOCK
BETTING FORECAST: 4/11 Kauto Star, 7/2 Exotic Dancer, 20/1 Cloudy Lane, 25/1 Tamarinbleu, 33/1 Ollie Magern, 50/1 Snoopy Loopy.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: KAUTO STAR's brilliant performance at Down Royal left little room for doubting that the former Cheltenham Gold Cup hero is back at the top of his game and it's difficult to see any of these rivals preventing him winning this Grade 1 chase for the third year in a row, with super-sub Sam Thomas again doing the steering in place of sidelined Ruby Walsh. Exotic Dancer, narrowly beaten by his old rival here 12 months ago, is the one most likely to chase him home, though Tamarinbleu isn't without hope if his stamina holds out

The return of Kauto Star
1.38 / 1.18
Looks a 2 horse affair. No Ruby onboard

1205 HUNTINGDON
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Presenting Forever, 4/1 Bob Run, Bonikos, 6/1 Little Al, 9/1 Quatro Pierji, 14/1 Amwell Brave, 20/1 Social Event, The Big Fella, 25/1 Pairc Na Gcapall, 40/1 Marlyn Ridge, 50/1 Ma Burls, Sam McCoombe, 66/1 Nabir.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Although he's probably the type to make a chaser in time and anything he does over hurdles should be a bonus, PRESENTING FOREVER looks a most interesting runner on his debut under rules and any market confidence would be significant. Bonikos and Bob Run, both coming from the bumper route, also warrant respect.

Money for Bonikos
3.3 / 1.54

130 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 Albaseet, 11/4 Africa´s Star, 7/2 Sharpener, 13/2 Chimbonda, 12/1 Fantasy Gladiator, 25/1 Contradiktive, 66/1 Abitofaboost, Music In The Glen.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: ALBASEET posted arguably the best effort of his career at Kempton last time and can get off the mark. Fantasy Gladiator is a possible alternative at a bigger price

Maiden race 2.2 / 1.17 over 5 furlongs - 8 runners - 3 potential outsiders so a decent enough probability

750 WOLVES
BETTING FORECAST: 4/7 Doncosaque, 8/1 Betws Y Coed, 10/1 Dougie Peel, In Step, Precocious Air, 14/1 Miss Kadee, Vodka Shot, 25/1 Jack´s House, 33/1 Coral Point, 66/1 Blushing Dreamer, Franali, Indian Blade, Sytygre.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Not much strength in depth and DONCOSAQUE is taken to make an immediate return on the £12,000 his new connections forked out for him after his recent easy win at Great Leighs.

4/5 now -eyecatching price gap 1.84 / 1.13 - negatives - claimer - 2 year olds - class 6

ONE A DAY
Faith put in KAuto Star again, needs just to stay on his feet today to place in the first 2 I think
