ONE A DAY SOCCER COLMAR V LILLE - Back Lille in the Match Odds at 1.30

I came out of yesterday's darts match with a slight loss. I hope you did too. Waites was 4-1 down and levelled the match amazingly 4-4, and it was at this stage that I traded out for a marginal loss, counting myself lucky that the bet was still alive in a first to 5 sets.
Adams cruised through - I simply chose the wrong darts match. Under 4.5 goals would have come in, uncomfortably, in the West Brom match. Braga beat Nacional and Divine Force placed for the handicap price gapper system.
I am still tentative about horse racing in this weather, but should I be?

1255 KEMPTON
BETTING FORECAST: 11/4 Major Lawrence, 3/1 Freedom Fire, Jan Mayen, 4/1 Mutajaaser, 12/1 Boogie Dancer, 25/1 Gheed, 33/1 Our Jane, Sir Tom, Whiterocks.

DIOMED VERDICT: The betting should give an idea of expectations for Mark Johnston's newcomer Jan Mayen but it may pay to stick with the proven ability of FREEDOM FIRE. There must be a doubt about Major Lawrence's stamina.

Only 4 horses under 14/1 here in the live market. jan Mayen is a Johnston newcomer - which ones of the first 4 will place? 1.41 for Major Lawrence and Freedom Fire

240 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Aeroplane, Plum Pudding, 7/2 Beauchamp Viceroy, 12/1 Samarinda, 14/1 Councellor.

DIOMED VERDICT: AEROPLANE should get the good tow that suits with several front runners in opposition and gets the vote.

5 runners down to 4 and 2 places. 2 clear market leadrs the ones to consider? 1.37 Aeroplane and Plum Pudding to place

FOOTBALL
2pm Colmar v Lille 1.29
Lille have scored 3 or more in their last 6 matches. This is the Coupe de France. Their next league match isn't until 16th January so no reason not to play a strong squad.1.82 over 2.5 goals -we will have to rely on Lille, I suspect, to score the 3 needed for this bet to come off.

Arsenal v Everton - comfortable home wins bar loss v Chelsea.
BEat Everton 6-1 at Goodison - this should not be replicated again today , Moyes will see to that.1.4 to beat Everton -goals a good bet though? 1.27 over 1.5 goals

Hibs v Irvine Meadow - 1.08 - Scottish Cup - signals goals these odds. Could enhance them with a halftime/fulltime or over 2.5 goals bet. - illiquid markets on Betfair At bet365 , halftime is 1.3 Hibs. The fact that bet365 have 5-0 at 13/2 will hopefully give us confidence that goals will fly in and Hibs can take a lead by half time

4pm - Seclin v Boulogne - 1.4 away side - we can ususally rely on the odds in the Coupe de France

530 - Biringham v Man utd - this should be a tight affair - 7 wins and 4 draws in their last 11 games for Birmingham - winning 4 and drawing 2 at home. Only beaten at home by Aston Villa 1-0
30% of their home games have been under 2.5 goals.
The recent 0-0 v Chelsea should give an idea of how they line up against Top 4.
7 games at home have finished goalless or just one goal.
1-0 at Old Trafford for their first game of the season, but they hav improved significantly since then - 1.12 under 4.5 goals here

745 -Bordeaux v Rodez - 1.25 home win - only one 1-0 loss at home - the rest all wins for the league leaders in this Coupe de France match - 6 wins on the trot - next match 17th January so ,again, no excuses not to pick a strong XI at home
Rodez are a French 3rd division side and if Bordeaux consent to play their best side, this will be easy pickings for the Ligue 1 form side

745 - Inter v Siena - 1.24 - I repeat it ad nauseum but a Mourinho team at home means they do not lose. 1.24 suggests they will win. Sienna are too big to lay at 18.5
Only 2 draws at home - playing bottom side today - lost all away from home bar a 3-1 win v Cagliari.
Against top 5 , they have only played Napoli away and lost 2-1 but have lost when top 5 have visited Siena.
Inter coming off the back of 2 1-0 victories -I expect a win today but a tight match in prospect I suspect as these bottom sides tend to battle, and Siena have generally lost by the one goal against top 5

SHORTLIST
Nothing clear cut with the horse racing although the maiden race was of interest, final decisions should really be made along with the live market near the off time, especially for the ark Johnston horse

FOOTBALL
2pm - Colmar v Lille - 1.30 - a strong Lille side will win easily ( and the key is having that strong Lille side with the players who have been scoring the 3 and 4 goals in each of their last 6 games

Arsenal v Everton - over 1.5 goals is 1.27 which involves both sides.

Hibs v Irvine Meadow - 1.08 signals an easy win. Odds can be enhanced with half time win at 1.30 with Bet365 ( 1.18 in an illiquid Betfair). Over 2.5 goals looks good if Hibs play to their 1.08 - only £9 at 1.27 - this would have been a very good bet if there was some more money

Bordeaux v Rodez - 1.25 - Bordeaux have home advantage in this Coupe de France game and it will be a shock if they lose or draw

Inter v Siena - 1.24 - we know Inter do not lose at home, so what is it to be - the draw or the Inter Win? Siena, whilst bottom, do not get spanked.
