***** ONE A DAY - Blackpool v Man City - Back over 1.5 goals at 1.24******
Tradeable with a very early goal, especially for Blackpool!

1/2 length the deficit yesterday while all around there were plenty of better opportunities - Man Utd ( 2 goals up), Benfica - as easy as you like, Frankel, and I choose the one that finishes 4th by half a length. How frustrating.
Werder over 1.5 goals, Real Madrid with 0-0 cover all came in with ease.

1245pm - AGF v Hjorring - 1.35 home - division 2 danish - AGF unbeaten in last 12 - 2 draws in last 3 league games perhaps a sign of caution.
5 wins in the league at home for this team relegated from Division 1.
3 wins in last 9 league games for Hjorring signals why AGF are favs.DLDLD away from home for Hjorring. THey do not win away from home. Hjorring are promoted from Division 3 this season. You would think a division 1 side of last year v a division 3 side of last year should see the division 1 side win.
1245pm -
Dundee Utd v Celtic - 1.69 away - 100% record and Rangers won yesterday to keep up their 100% record so really is a must win for Celtic. They have belied the slightly higher odds away from home , albeit not convincingly with 1-0, 1-0, 2-1 away wins.
A = away H =Home W=Win L=Loss
WA, WH, LA, HD , HD for Celtic in head to heads. Won the 2 most recent head to heads in 2010.
Dundee United a bit ropey at home. 4-0 loss to Caley thistle, 1-0 win to St Johnstone and 3-1 win to Aberdeen.
Rangers have already beaten Dundee United this season 4-0 but that was at Rangers. Still, this is indicative of the ideal scoreline if Celtic play to their optimum. Asians 0.5 to 1 signals a tight match and Celtic have been drifting already as I write to 1.73.
I have ignored them in the past due to the odds and they have won.
130pm -
Willem II v PSV - 1.23 away - WWWWWW in head to heads last 6 for PSV. 1-0 last time out away at Willem II -WDD so far away from home. Unbeaten this season so expectation in odds for win, but always threatening a draw.
Willem II have lost 7 and drawn 1 of their last 8 matches. 3,5,3,3,2,4,2,0 the goals conceded in those 8 matches. Ajax beat them 2-0 at Ajax and that should be within the compass of PSV.
I would back PSV and perhaps trade out if they lead at any stage. Slight concern with 2 consecutive away draws.
2pm -
Estonia U17 v Austria U17 - 1.41 away - 1 win, 2 draws and 9 losses for home side in last 12.Have lost 7 and drawn 1 of last 8.
2pm -
Gumefens/Sorens v Grasshoppers Zurich - 1.1 away - Swiss Cup saw goals galore yesterday
2pm -
Juventus v Lecce - 1.38 home DLW for Juve at home so far this season has featured 6,4,6 goals - high scoring matches at home. LLD for Lecce away from home 4-0, 1-0, 2-2 for those away matches. Again 2 of those 4 matches were high scoring.
2-2 in 2009 head to heads - the others were in 2008/7/6 and may not be relevant.
1.24 over 1.5 goals
2pm -
Locarno v FC Zurich - 1.26 away - division 2 v division 1 in the Swiss Cup
4pm -
Dnipro v Zorya - 1.32 home - 2 draws, 3 1-0's in last 5 head to heads signals potential tight match here.Zorya have drawn their last 2 matches 1-1. LLD for Dnipro at home in last 3 league matches is hardly compelling evidence to back them at 1.32 given 7 of Zorya's last 12 matches have been 1-0 scorelines, and 3 have been 1-1 with apparent anomolous 3-0 and 3-1 losses completing the 12 matches.
4pm - Blackpool v Man City - 1.61 away - Blackpool matches usually equal goals. DLW away for City so far this season hardly justifies the squillions spent.
They have won their last 3 matches. Blackpool have played 2 of the perceived top 4 and lost 6-0 and 4-0 ( albeit away from home). Draw and loss for 2 home games so far this season does not augur well for the visit of City.
6 of the 7 matches Blackpool have played have been over 2.5 goals. the other was 2-0, albeit not tradeable as 2nd goal came in 90th minute.
Perhaps a neutral goals bet here 1.23 over 1.5 goals.

5pm -
Aalesunds v Sandefjord - 1.28 home - Sandefjord have lost their last 7 on the trot. They have lost 10 and drawn 2 of their last 12 matches.
Aelsunds have lost 6 and won 3 of their last 9, hardly any better. No sign of a draw here! Lay the draw?
7pm -
CSKA Sofia v Kaliakra - 1.19 home - I cannot see why CSKA are so short - they are hardly in the best of form.

220 KEMPTON
BETTING FORECAST: Evs
Jubail, 3/1 Plan A, 13/2 Il Portico, 10/1 Denton Ryal, 14/1 Gulf Punch, Professeur Emery, 20/1 Big Talk, 33/1 Magic Spirit.

DIOMED VERDICT: JUBAIL looks the one to be with after an encouraging start over hurdles at Market Rasen.

8 runners and 3 places for this juvenile hurdle and a clear split - 5 only under 20/1 - 4 debutants to this sphere though could be anything 1.2 to place.

325 KEMPTON
BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Karasenir, 100/30 William Hogarth, 9/2 Marc Aurele, 10/1 Hatton Flight, Rajamand, 12/1 Marleno, 14/1 Dereks, 16/1 Mister New York, 20/1 Rajnagan, 25/1 Goodwood Starlight.

DIOMED VERDICT: With a better round of jumping KARASENIR should be able to gain revenge on William Hogarth.

Class 1 listed race and fav consistently places in first 2. Only 4 under 14/1 should be the focus for the places.

435 KEMPTON
BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 Australia Day, 9/4 Katchit, 5/2 Noble Alan, 14/1 Farleigh House, 33/1 Rock Me, 66/1 Spider Boy.

DIOMED VERDICT: AUSTRALIA DAY (nap) can make all, just as he did at Market Rasen on his final appearance over jumps.

Another race of splits. Only 3 under 25/1 here should fight for the 2 places.

535 CORK
BETTING FORECAST: 13/8 Mister Music Man, 7/4 Fire Belt, 9/2 Captain Paulie, 14/1 Monroe Park, Total Pleasure, 16/1 Loch Garbh, 20/1 Wilde Oscar, 50/1 Divine Island.

8 runner bumper for 3 places and Fire belt has leapfrogged into favouratism after a number of 2nd places.

SHORTLIST
1245pm - Dundee Utd v Celtic - 1.69 away - Celtic have tended to eek out a win, albeit 1-0 twice and 2-1 away from home this season. Motivation to do so again this match. I may consider covering the 0-0 here if backing Celtic as the asian handicaps are tight.

130pm - Willem II v PSV - 1.23 away - clear in head to heads but slight concern they have drawn last 2 away matches, so consideration for trading out if PSV lead at any stage. Twente and Ajax both won yesterday. PSV need to start winning rather than drawing away as they keep dropping 2 points with each draw.

2pm - Juventus v Lecce - 1.38 home - 1,24 over 1.5 goals - bucket loads scored in Juventus home matchs so far this season ( 6,4,6) clear of 1.5 goals by some distance.

4pm - Blackpool v Man City - 1.61 away - 1.23 over 1.5 goals given all bar 1 match has ended over 2.5 goals.

5pm - Aalesunds v Sandefjord - 1.28 home - in form v a team who have lost 10 of last 12 matches and lost last 7 on the trot. Lay the draw as there has not been a draw in yonks - or , as this is in running, back Aalesunds with option to trade if they lead at any stage.

220 KEMPTON - Jubail is 1.2 to place in what looks a 5 horse race for 3 places. Encouraging debut but 4 newcomers in opposition and has to complete of course. Alan King horse so strong stable.

435 KEMPTON - 3 horses under 25/1 should be the ones for the 2 places but Australia Day is making hurdling debut today , Katchit has not run since March and Noble Alan has not run since April. The latter would interest me with his hurdling /chasing experience and Brian Harding on board.
3 horses then for 2 places. Illiquid betting market puts Australia clear in the place only market.

535 CORK - need to view nearer the off as this is a bumper.

SHORTLIST OF THE SHORTLIST
130pm - Willem II v PSV - 1.23 away - 2 away draws on the trot should end today for a side who are clearly superior in head to heads
2pm - Juventus v Lecce - 1.38 home - 1.24 over 1.5 goals based on Juve's home matches
4pm - Blackpool v Man City - 1.61 away - 1.23 over 1.5 goals - all Blackpool's matches this season have ended over 1.5 goals.

220 KEMPTON - Jubail is 1.2 to place in this 8 runner race for 3 places where only 5 are under 20./1. Concern there are 4 debutants
