4/2

Well if you didn't fancy them good ole amateur riders there was plenty of opportunities yesterday in a betting market which was highly accurate throughout the card - not a usual occurence! 3 winners from the 12pm market movers

Chris deBurgh gave Don't Paytheferryman a good ride to place in 3rd

100 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Mellow Mixture, 3/1 Lacrosse, 9/2 Crag Path, 5/1 Premier Angel, 10/1 Carrazara, 12/1 Ladies Dancing, 25/1 Flying River, 33/1 Majd Aljazeera, Suhailah, 50/1 Miami Mix.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Mellow Mixture and Premier Angel have had their disappointments but also been runner-up in maidens at this track, so they have to be considered seriously. LACROSSE and Crag Path, however, could easily improve markedly on what they achieved first time out.[

Are these market movers around midday going to prove as accurate today? Lacrosse is now odds on! Only 2 horses under 12/1 1.14 and 1.07 for the 2 market leaders

130 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 4/1 Can Can Star, 11/2 Parson´s Punch, 6/1 Majehar, 13/2 Kidlat, 8/1 Trifti, 9/1 Man Of Gwent, 10/1 Bell Island, Jago, 12/1 Sign Of The Cross, 14/1 Direct Debit, 20/1 It´s My Day, 25/1 Bee Stinger, Dr Brass.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: CAN CAN STAR has been in great form over C&D and is taken to pounce late again. Kidlat caught the eye last time, while Majehar and Trifti have thoroughly demonstrated their effectiveness over C&D and Man Of Gwent would be a big player on a going day

Sign of the Cross now a favourite -look at the betting forecast price and the 10/3 in the live market- is it Nuns and Priests day at Lingfield? Has Father Ted had a big bet? 1.96

230 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Dollar Express, 9/2 Divine Force, Piazza San Pietro, 11/2 Kiss A Prince, 7/1 Georgina Macrae, 8/1 Bickersten, 20/1 Edgeworth, Set Em Up Mo, 33/1 If Only.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: This looks tricky to sort out, given that Piazza San Pietro no longer inspires any confidence. Kiss A Prince, Divine Force (who's improved since) and DOLLAR EXPRESS finished close together over C&D three weeks ago and although he came off worst that day, perhaps Dollar Express can emerge on top this time if, as expected, he is a good deal more street-wise

Dollar Express now odds on with Piazza San Pietro a mover too 1.26 and 1.33

850 KEMPTON
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Petrovsky, 9/2 Mile High Lad, 5/1 Innactualfact, 6/1 Black N Brew, 12/1 Supernoverre, 16/1 Sign Of Approval.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: PETROVSKY (nap) looks like he will relish the increased test of stamina he will get here and is taken to lead home Black N Brew and Mile High Lad.

Now odds on and the price gap remains - like Riguez Dancer who got the hatrick yesterday, this one is priced to get the win again 1.28

ONE A DAY

Some interesting ones at Downroyal but the heavy ground could play havoc with the market principles

Again, like yesterday, some significant market movers here today on the all weather and it is unrealistic for us to expect another easy day following the market
100 LING - Crag Path is a non runner which leaves the front 2 with a good opportunity - for a one time outer in a maiden, LAcrosse has been battered into favouritism and odds on. Mellow Mixture is on his coat tails, and has had far more runs and at 1.15 is better priced in a race in which only 2 are under 12/1
Sign of the cross of course is enticing at nearly evens to place but is the market move accurate?

230 LING - 3 horses sub 14/1 and Piazzo san Petro has palced form on the last 3 occasions he has been out - 4/11 last time out and was obviously expected to prevail.
Dollar Express is the one for money but ,in another maiden, has only had the one run

Lacrosse is the obvious one today at an all too obvious price alas and maybe it might be worth a gamble on Mellow Mixture at 1.15
