| SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: A valuable handicap featuring several exposed sorts but the one that could prove a good deal better than his current mark is RIPPLING RING (nap). This highly regarded sort, who caught the eye with the way he travelled for a long way in the Supreme Novices Hurdle (race worked out tremendously well), starts handicap life on a potentially lenient mark and he's very much of interest at a course and on ground that should firmly play to his strengths. Dishdasha should also find things to his liking and may prove best of the remainder |

| SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: The best novice hurdle run so far this season, with a host of in-form, unexposed, useful types in opposition. Unbeaten Gray Mountain and Tarablaze command plenty of respect but they will need to be decidedly smart to concede weight to JUNIOR (nap), whose spring runs in top handicaps set a useful standard on form. Though yet to win over hurdles, three wins from his last four Flat starts (last time in July 2007) confirm that he is more than willing to put his head in front. |
If its not Walsh/Nicholls then it's King/Thornton - always trustworthy on market leaders and Choc is a superb jockey to have on your side 3 /1.55 - caution here that the place only price is a little big indicating a tight race
