11/10

The writing was on the wall for Charm School - 1.42 quoted by me was 1.68 at the off -I did mention that I was not too sure about the price for the place in relation to the win only price - I mentioned too in the eletter out of kilters and the Witch doctor was not only out of kilter but backed in from 12/1 in the betting forecast to 11/2 and won. I can't do updates alas - still at 1.42, to win my target profit of just over £2 would have involved a stake of £6
The idea today is to retreive that lost £6 and, if the odds are big enough, target profit for the day, but preference is to just concentrate on the £6 lost stake ( £3.80 with later prices)

325 BANGOR
BETTING FORECAST: 4/5 Khachaturian, 6/1 Quail, 8/1 Yeoman Spirit, 10/1 Fair Point, The Treacle Eater, 16/1 Galoshes, Supreme Keano, 20/1 Stran Millis, 25/1 Jorveybrook, 40/1 Always Baileys, 100/1 Glenisland, Lunar Fox.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: There are one or two possible improvers here but KHACHATURIAN sets a formidable standard on form and really should be able to put these to the sword.[JN]

Crrently 11/10 in the early markets -nice price gap - negatives - novices hurdle and size of field - 5 horses though at 25/1 or over
Of concern too is the 155 day absence 2.08 / 1.21

400
BETTING FORECAST: 4/5 Breedsbreeze, 11/2 Rightway Star, 7/1 Andytown, 8/1 Safari Run, 9/1 Crow Wood, 10/1 Nikola, 33/1 Sea Senor, 50/1 Sir Monty, 66/1 Supreme Leisure.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Several of these are capable of winning over fences but BREEDSBREEZE has the potential to go right to the top of the chasing tree and is the one to beat. Rightway Star and Andytown can fight out the minor honours

Another novices chase but Nicholls/Thomas on board the jolly and 3 horses in a smaller field at 100/1 shorten likely rivals - 211 day absence again! 1.74 / 1.2

340 CHEPSTOW
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Wake Board, 11/4 R De Rien Sivola, 100/30 Tuanku, 16/1 Dubai Baileys, Shannersburg, 20/1 Gold Rock, 25/1 Boomtown, Shipboard Romance, 28/1 Reve De Sivola, 33/1 Code Violation, Sawpit Solitaire, 50/1 Sonate De La Tour, 100/1 Hennalaine.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Paul Nicholls' ex-French recruit R De Rien Sivola receives plenty of weight from the other principals and is worth close attention in the betting but WAKE BOARD has already established himself as a useful juvenile over domestic hurdles and is preferred. [MCu]

Potential probability race - only 3 horses sub 16/1 Choc Thornton and Ruby Walsh on second and 3rd favs makes the choice difficult

BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 Tataniano, 4/1 Great Tusker, Silver Kate, 5/1 Bushy Island, 16/1 Pilgrims Lane, The Grifter, 20/1 Living The Dream, Song Sung Blue, 25/1 Moss Road, 33/1 Across The Straits, 40/1 On Oath, Priors Coppice, 50/1 Darn Hot, Divine Cloud, Its Danny Boy, Walls Way.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Silver Kate may have won well at Hereford but it is probable that a number of these, most notably the champion trainer's TATANIANO, will prove hugely more difficult to dismiss than the opposition that day. Bushy Island and Great Tusker also repreesnt very powerful stables.[RA]

Bumper with lots of debutants and Ruby and Nicholls nboard market leader 2.16 / 1.26

HEXHAM
215
BETTING FORECAST: 4/5 Striking Article, 11/4 The Shy Man, 7/1 Carrietau, 14/1 Wise Choice, 16/1 Jamie´s Boy, 20/1 Nevsky Bridge, 100/1 Pendle Forest.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: STRIKING ARTICLE and The Shy Man are potentially decent recruits to chasing and, with his yard going so well, Howard Johnson's gelding may have the edge on this occasion.[AWJ]

Only 2 the place and effectively debtants at chasing - 200+ days absence for market leader 1.62 / 1.31

345 MUSS
BETTING FORECAST: 10/11 With Interest, 7/4 Bolodenka, 13/2 Nanton, 12/1 Jewelled Dagger, 16/1 Goodbye Mr Bond, 33/1 Lucky Dance, 200/1 Carry On Cleo, Ignition.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Godolphin are enjoying a fine run at the moment and WITH INTEREST should be hard to beat. Bolodenka is in fine form and looks the biggest danger, whilst it will be interesting to see if Nanton can build on his excellent Cambridgeshire effort.[HT]

8 runners - 2 horses at 750/1 can hopefully be dismissed bringing field down to 6 -first 3 in betting look the ones ( price wise) to concentrate on)

Obvious ones like With Interest and Katchaturian would require big stakes
I'll chance Breedsbreeze at 1.2
