King Olav 1st 10/11

Greystoke Prince 2nd 6/4
Shyrl 4th 8/11
Satwa Laird 1st evens
Pivka 4th 9/4

Both shortlisted selections placed yesterday

730 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 Exit Strategy, 3/1 Majestical, 9/2 River Kirov, 8/1 Game Lady, 10/1 Makabul, 16/1 Mudhish, 25/1 Pajada, Vogarth, 33/1 Lady Fas .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: It’s hard to get away from EXIT STRATEGY, who won a C&D handicap in decisive fashion last time and can take advantage of this drop in grade. Stablemate Majestical could be the one to chase him home if he’s on a going day, while a market move for River Kirov would be interesting.

Decent enough price gap- race revolving around the 3 market leaders? I'm only looking for a place again on Exit strategy 1.65 place 2.85 win BUT is a seller

640 MR
BETTING FORECAST: 4/9 Seymour Weld, 7/2 Norman Beckett, 13/2 Young Tot, 16/1 Sycho Fred, 50/1 Government .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: SEYMOUR WELD is easily excused a down-the-field run in a very competitive handicap here last time and, judged on his two previous all-the-way wins in C&D novices, ought to be very hard to catch in this company. Chasing debutant Norman Beckett may be next home, ahead of Young Tot - like Seymour Weld a front-runner.

Fav to place - 2 the place 1.19 place 1.62 win

510 RIPON
BETTING FORECAST: 8/11 Inchwood, 9/2 Jabal Tariq, 11/2 Sweet Lightning, 7/1 Blimey O´Riley, 10/1 Keenes Day ,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: INCHWOOD, from the stable that won this race in 2007, is going the right way and gives the impression she will prove better than an 89-rated filly before the season's out. Dual C&D winner Jabal Tariq, back on softer ground, could be the forecast material.

Winner last time out - only 2 the place here as sub 8 runners - decent enough price gap 1.4 place 2.16 win - interesting - such a small field and a relatively big place only price says it all!

Last weekend proved how difficult it was. Today I have tried to be very selective and there are some price gappers I have left out because of race type and possible soft ground. Of the above, Seymour Weld would be the one for me. Exit is in a seller and Inchwood is a handicap winner last time fighting for only 2 places.
