Uninspiring City form away from home, but how important is it that they beat Porto 1-2 away from home, another Portugeuse opponent in this competition.
Sporting rarely concede at home , in domestic and Europa competition. Max really is 1 conceded. But they have not really met Premiership opponents we can gauge them on. City laboured over their 1-2 away win against Porto ( own goal and 85th minute winner) and I suspect they would take a low goal scoring, or score draw to Manchester where they will dominate as they did against Porto. Both sides have a string of clean sheets to their names recently making this a real toughy. No biggie if City lose by the single goal.
I would look at 1-1 as my angle in, covering the coveted away goal city should be capable of scoring.

The problem here is how seriously United take the Europa League. We saw a rather blase attitude in the home leg against Ajax, 1-2 a little too close to comfort and hinted at a slightly second string side.
