21/11

Not the goalfest I imagined, but Cambuur won 1-0 so job done.
Forrest pennant won too

Immediately today, surely Chelsea at 1.19 v Wolves fits the profile of being a bet that will be a shock if it loses?

A lot of likely races today but featuring generally top heavy markets.
255 HAYDOCK
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Kauto Star, 2/1 Notre Pere, 13/2 Madison Du Berlais, 10/1 Imperial Commander, 14/1 Halcon Genelardais, 66/1 Rambling Minster, 150/1 The Sawyer, 200/1 Seymour Weld,

DIOMED VERDICT: At the likely prices, NOTRE PERE - the subject of solid support through the week - is a tempting alternative to Kauto Star given that he's consistently shown himself a chaser of very high quality on testing ground.

The return of Kauto and a race with 2 non runners - 3 places and 1.21 Kauto and 1.38 Notre Pere if Diomed is to be believed. As far as I can see, the only thinkg stopping Kauto not placing is a fall.
But is the hype surrounding Notre Pere worthy of interest as 1.38 to place is a nice price in a race of 7 runners, 2 of which are 66/1 or bigger reducing the competitive field to 5 runners and 3 places.

BETTING FORECAST: 8/11 Presvis, 6/1 Plum Pudding, 8/1 Suits Me, Tranquil Tiger, 12/1 Beauchamp Xerxes, 14/1 General Eliott, 20/1 Tinshu, 33/1 Beauchamp Viceroy, Lucky Dance.

DIOMED VERDICT: PRESVIS may well come on for this reappearance but he looks the one to beat with most of his rivals have something to prove.

Presvis a quality horses and has Fallon onboard for this listed race ( by definition a competitive race!) 1.17 to place

ONE A DAY
Kauto star or Chelsea. Surely Kauto, despite the ground, is such a class horse that only a fall ( beware last fence!!) should stop him placing. Intriguing to wonder how Notre Pere will perform - backed a week!
Chelsea for me though, as this should be a 3-0, 4-0 home win, but I expected this with Cambuur. I suspect Wolves ill put up some resistance while eventually succumbing. Here's hoping the good run continues
