BETTING FORECAST: 13/8 Blue Maiden, 4/1 Tabassum, 11/2 Pipette, Sweet Sonnet, 12/1 Electric Feel, 14/1 Hasty, 16/1 Bella Swan, 20/1 Amary, 25/1 Crown, 50/1 Fairy Promises.
DIOMED VERDICT: Pipette and Tabassum are virtual unknown quantities but have plenty to find if they are to match the form of BLUE MAIDEN. |
Tabassum is fancied into 1/8 favourite but this is a very competitive and high class field. Bella swan the potential mover - each way backers? Crown is flirting with 16/1 but is 20/1 in places - 2 big prices who may be market movers 1.56 the front 2 to place tells you this is competitive
205 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Rosco Flyer, 9/2 Quinsman, 6/1 Final Drive, Primo Dilettante, 8/1 Chanrossa, 14/1 Molly The Witch, Solo Choice, 16/1 Rockabout, 25/1 Montmartre, 33/1 Persian Tomcat.
DIOMED VERDICT: ROSCO FLYER looks capable of more progress at this trip and can get off the mark. |
Price gapper in a 0-65 class 6 but price gap not as apparent in live market and Montmartre and Persian tomcat are both 16/1 at present might be the betting forecaster's inaccurate tissue or potential movers? 1.49 to place Rosco flyer
215 HEXHAM
BETTING FORECAST: 9/4 Mickmacmagoole, 5/1 Commons Glory, Hawksbury Heights, 7/1 Lahib The Fifth, 10/1 Jumeirah Jane, 14/1 Stormin Heart, 16/1 Camerooney, Lindseyfield Lodge, 20/1 Jack And Jones, Samizdat, Solis, 25/1 Alpha Juliet, 33/1 Thunderclap, Waterdale, Wyn Dixie.
DIOMED VERDICT: An on-song MICKMACMAGOOLE will be tough to beat at this level. |
A hard to beat selection and AP McCoy onboard but a big field selling hurdle is the negative - 1.66 to place - all big prices today strangely enough - 6/4 with the bookies and over 1/2 to place probably tells you there is some fear with this being a big field selling hurdle
230 NMKT
BETTING FORECAST: 9/4 Lady Of The Desert, 5/2 Special Duty, 6/1 Sand Vixen, 13/2 Song Of My Heart, 10/1 Misheer, 11/1 Habaayib, 16/1 Shamandar, 40/1 Puff,
DIOMED VERDICT: Special Duty and LADY OF THE DESERT look out of the top drawer and are taken to dominate. |
Faith in Diomed here? Lady is the fancied one now 7/4 but, as with Newmarket today, high class races mean none of the horses can be confidently dismissed 1.3 to place
325 HEXHAM
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 House Of Bourbon, 7/4 Mr Robert, 15/8 Quivvy Bridge, 100/1 Boston Bay, Willybegood.
DIOMED VERDICT: HOUSE OF BOURBON will be tough to beat on these terms if repeating his latest effort at Ffos Las. |
A 3 horse race and a " hard to beat" fav. The betting forecaster can't split them - the live market favours House 1.26 to place and 2 places
350 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 8/11 Noble Greek, 7/1 I´Malwaysright, 8/1 Key Art, 9/1 Art Summer, Pirate´s Song, 12/1 Bush Master, 14/1 Bellini Rose, 66/1 Ajara Boy, Stoneacre Joe, 100/1 Wannabee.
DIOMED VERDICT: A race like this should be well within the reach of NOBLE GREEK. |
Biggest price gap so far and 2nd fav out as well should make his job a lot easier 1.14 to place is more remiscent of the place only prices I would relate to fancied horses
500 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 8/11 Arty Crafty, 8/1 Honorable Endeavor, 14/1 Cecily Parsley, Dayanara, Flirty, Slicker, 20/1 Champagne Fizz, D´Artagnans Dream, Fleur De´Lion, 25/1 Pursuit Of Purpose, Sula Dream, 33/1 Sparkling Suzie,
DIOMED VERDICT: Very hard to oppose the progressive ARTY CRAFTY with the extra distance being in her favour. |
"very hard to oppose" and a price gapper -only 2 under 12/1 but Honorable endeavor is a possible market mover - 1.22 to place
525 NMKT
BETTING FORECAST: 13/8 Dreamwalk, 15/8 Bothy, 4/1 Opera Prince, 11/2 Beauchamp Wizard.
DIOMED VERDICT: DREAMWALK has a solid chance on his Bath July fourth but it will be interesting to see he moves in the betting in relation to stablemate Bothy. |
Of course there will be no place market with 2 horses left, but the 2 horses are ofiginal favourite Dreamwalk and original outsider Beauchamp - Fallon on the latter but why was it 11/2 originally to Dreamcatcher's 13/8 - would hint that the original fav is better fancied? 1.55 and 2.78 - of course the dynamics of the race have changed considerably and it may now not be about the horse with the besst ability but the jockey with the tactical nouse - still for those with faith in Diomed's tissue prices, Dreamwalk should be the best horse in the race
830 DUNDALK
BETTING FORECAST: 1/4 Mastercraftsman, 7/1 Fiery Lad, 10/1 Lord Admiral, 12/1 Re Barolo, Via Galilei, 14/1 Northgate, 16/1 Man Of Iron, Suailce, 25/1 Augustusthestrong, Big Robert, 33/1 Wymering File, 50/1 Cilium.
Ballydoyle 1/5 fav can usually be trusted, especially when Murtagh takes the ride 1.27 to win and 1.07 to place ( illiquid markets so far)
FOOTBALL
Gent v Mouscron 1.4 on Betfair and in running - could be a good enhanced bet match -Gent have lost their last 2 games and have lost to teams at the bottom of the league ( where Mouscron reside) Not the strongest 1.4 shots in history.
SHORTLIST
215 HEXHAM - Mickmacmagoole is 1.66 to place but 6/4 - - - -6/1 in the live market - big place price - has been running in class 3 and class 4 and now in a seller - can he take advantage
350 LING - Noble Greek at 1.14 is a big price gapper in another maiden and a 5 furlong maiden on te all weather to make life easier for the punter. 2 clear outsiders at 66/1 reduce the competitive field ( we would hope) to 6 with 3 to place. Form of 292 - the 9 came in a class 1 so is understandable
500 LING - Art crafty is a price gapper in a 0-60 handicap . Form of 1112 is superb and priced to be competitive here but remember Valid Point bombed out after a run of wins. ow much of a difference with standard/slow ground at Lingfield be ? Still is another "hard to beat selection"
830 DUNDALK - looks the strongest bet of the day this MAstercraftsman but 1.27 is the win only price and 1.07 is the place only price. Looks way ahead of this lot ( no shit Sherlock!!)
ONE A DAY
Noble Greek for me looks the best of the afternoon - really nailed on would be the MAster at 80 this evening in an intriguing day's racing - how will the hard to beat's perform? Will Art crafty continue his great run with my 0-60 price gapper system?
