9/9

Folly Bridge consented to win , as did Mister tee at a big 1.13 for a 1.36 shot ridden by Murtagh who'd come twice 4 times!
Anyway, job done yesterday

The Italians and Ruskies won again -another 4-0 for a 1/33 shot - a regular occurence and a chance to enhance the odds

International footy today and mismatches all over the place will probably result in a footy bet as the one a day, unless there's a nailed on horse bet

210 EPSOM
BETTING FORECAST: 5/2 Bagamoyo, 7/2 Slice, 9/2 Bush Tucker, 11/2 Radio City, 6/1 Master Of Dance, 10/1 Hill Of Miller, 12/1 More Lashes,

DIOMED VERDICT: SLICE has given the impression he's been unsuited by soft ground in two starts since his Chepstow success and is worth a chance to resume his improvement returned to quicker conditions.

All red on Bagamoyo - one non runner but may only be 2 places as the non runner was "doubtful" - 3 places on Betfair make this a possible place only selection at an enticing 1.23 - I'm not a fan of 2 year old races, especially nurseries but it's 7 runners - 3 places

220 UTTOXETER
BETTING FORECAST: 5/2 Hintsnallegations, 3/1 Pengana, 11/2 Humbel Ben, 6/1 Mumbles Pier, Word Of Warning, 12/1 Happy New Year, 14/1 Dot´s Delight, 20/1 Ministerofinterior, Return To Glory, 25/1 Pocket Park, 50/1 Bocciani, Felix Rex, 100/1 Castlemaine Vic, Kaftan Lad, Miss Zigzag, Sir Billy Nick.

DIOMED VERDICT: Irish challenger PENGANA looked a bright prospect when obliging on his last two hurdle starts and should have more to offer.

3rd and 5th favs out and who better to take advantage than AP and Choc on 1st and 2nd favs in a race where only 5 are under 20/1 1.26 hints and 1.78 Pengana -the confidence in the place market is behind McCoy's mount but is it because it's McCoy?

245 EPSOM
BETTING FORECAST: 15/8 Realisation, 11/4 Natural Law, Sabander Bleue, 11/2 Ebony Boom, 16/1 Dubai Phantom,

DIOMED VERDICT: REALISATION has decent credentials as his Chester form has been given a couple of boosts and he's from a yard that has won two of the last five renewals of this contest.

Not nailed on at all but market shows a bit of confidence at 1/2 and Fanning for Johnston is a very good sight

A 50/50 race this - 4 horses and 2 places 1.15 to place is enticing here with the Fanning/Johnston combo a strong pull for me

310 DONCASTER
BETTING FORECAST: 8/11 Twice Over, 7/2 Serva Jugum, 7/1 Chock A Block, 10/1 Kings Gambit, 12/1 Gitano Hernando, 25/1 Sweet Lilly.

DIOMED VERDICT: A race like this ought to be well within the grasp of TWICE OVER but he will need to be back on song to give 8lb more than weight-for-age to Serva Jugum.

Should just involve 3 horses this race -these 3 fighting for 2 places 1.18 for Twice Over

540 UTTOX
BETTING FORECAST: 11/8 Knock Em Dead, 7/1 Ja Myford, Phone In, 8/1 Margarets Girl, 10/1 Mcqueen, 12/1 Fortification, 14/1 Benny The Piler, Dune Raider, Michaels Dream, 25/1 Tandori, Young Tot.

DIOMED VERDICT: KNOCK EM DEAD (nap) has progressed well over the summer and has been found a good opportunity to complete the hat-trick.

McCoy on a price gapper - evidence enough to place back? Big price gap ,on the hatrick and priced to come in again 1.24 to place -remember any horse (apart from Sea the stars and Rachel Alexandra LOL) putting together a winning sequence, will eventually lose

720 KEMP
BETTING FORECAST: 11/8 Lutine Charlie, 3/1 Search For The Key, 5/1 Locksley Hall, 12/1 Ongoodform, 14/1 Addictive Dream, Caldermud, 16/1 San Cassiano, 20/1 Phoenix Rose, 33/1 Baralaka, 50/1 Banged Up Abroad, 66/1 Ballyvonane,

DIOMED VERDICT: LUTINE CHARLIE sets a good standard and is likely to prove hard to beat.

Price gapper here and a maiden who has had 2 runs so at least he's had a little bit of experience and has proved consistent on his 2nd run. 1.15 to place

820 KEMP
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 The Scorching Wind, 13/2 Focail Eile, 7/1 Gazboolou, 8/1 Miss Minnies, 10/1 Eastern Gift, 12/1 April Fool, My Shadow, 16/1 Chief Exec, 20/1 Forbidden, Penchesco, 25/1 Fiefdom, Minority Report, Toolentidhaar, 33/1 Regional Counsel.

DIOMED VERDICT: THE SCORCHING WIND (nap) is at the top of his game right now and can make it three in a row in a weaker race than he has contested the last twice.

Price gapper in a handicap on a hatrick BUT priced to run well again 1.28 to place

FOOTBALL
15:30 Cameroon vs Gabon 3/10
Eto'o upfront and won 2-0 at Gabon. 2 2nd half goals show Gabon may be difficult to break down in a last effort to qualify 1.39 NOT IN PLAY
16:15 Otterup vs Randers FC 20/1 8/1 1/20
1/20 shot here and simple case of following the market- Danish Cup and a bigger 1.15 on Betfair but a naturally illiquid market
16:20 Czech Republic vs San Marino 1/100
Quite simply equals goals -expect 3 or 4 - 1.08 halftime/fulltime UNBACKABLE in the win market - 1.2 over 3.5 goals. These games, as I say, are usually 3-0 or 4-0 matches and rarely spankings .Over 3.5 goals is tradeable
17:30 Malta vs Sweden 25/1 8/1 1/12
Should oblige 1.1 here on Betfair for a 1/12 shot ( and 1.15 for Randers on Betfair -a 1/20 shot with Ladbrokes !!-take the hint!)
19:00 Israel vs Luxembourg 1/12 8/1 25/1
Home advantage should allow obvious chance 1.14 to win
19:30 Moldova vs Greece 8/1 16/5 2/5
2/5 against Moldova - HUGE price -doubt somewhere surely - perhaps Greece's ability to score goals, but looks an unnaturally big price against minnows 1.44 to win - so what's the catch here? Moldova leak goals and Greece have a 100% record - injuries? Too many kebabs? This is either a very good bet or I'm missing something
19:45 Germany vs Azerbaijan 1/80
Goals again - expect 3 or more - 1.19 to win half time seems massive -playing at home
21:00 Spain vs Estonia 1/20
Devastating form recently with 5-0 win and should do the same again tonight - over 2.5 goals should oblige? 1.28 over 2.5 goals looks great
TENNIS
THe bank of Fed is open later on and is paying 1.08 tonight. The way he dispatched the last opponent in 3 straight sets means we should not expect a Murray like collapse - Fed is a different animal, and with the main rival out will be licking his lips
SHORTLIST
245 EPSOM - 50/50 race and 1.15 for Realisation appeals but I hate 2 place races regardless of the apparent clear cut nature of the selection, but this is Johnston/Fanning and I like them
540 UTTOX - McCoy on a price gapper must always appeal - Knock en dead is 1.24 to place
Why is a 1/20 shot 1.15 on Betfair? Randers FC are 1.05 with Ladbrokes. V enticing but I know nothing about Danish games, Danish Cup games and team news is likely to be hard to find - illiquid market and not in running
Greece are a massive 1.44 to prevail in Moldova who are , what's the footballing term? - PANTS!
Injuries for the Greek squad? Doubts about their goalscoring prowess?
Spain should easily win but how many will they score? Beat Estonia 3-0 in their previous encounter so over 2.5 goals may be just on the verge of coming in and better approached from a trading perspective
FEDERER is 1.08 and should breeze it if his last game is anything to go by
ONE A DAY
Lots to chose from and for me Randers FC at 1.15 ( 1.05 with Ladbrokes) are my one a day simply because I'm getting inflated odds on a 1/20 shot - NOTE - the market is illiquid and there's not much available at all.
Alternatively,

Total stake: £100.00
Your total potential win: £16.00
is reasonable but not necessarily one a day but does mean you can get the stakes on Randers
Fingers crossed that the odds on Randers mean an easy afternoon's work
