9/11

A cracking day for the each ways and it's clear that these bets represent value , and better prices than the price gappers and should be the ones I concentrate on. There is some consistency to these bets both in win and place that leads me to think that a decent profit can accrue over time, with the insurance of payments for the place that each way betting brings.
So it'll remain 3 a day for the each ways and if there's a price gapper NOT in a fecking maiden hurdle then I'll mention it. I was going to put Boz up , as I did the last 2 times he ran and won, and was surprised to see Jamie Spencer get another win out of the horse - I suppose when you're vying for the jockey title, you try a little harder!
PRICE GAPPERS
As said above, those looking for better prices should concentrate on the each way selections.
645 DUNDALK
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Dahindar, 3/1 Coach And Four, 6/1 La Sylvia, 8/1 Hurricane Hen, 10/1 Edmondstown Lass, Finsburra, He´s Got Rhythm, 14/1 Try Freedom, Turklord, 16/1 Kevsar, 20/1 Archmani, Fairyville, Safe Spark, 25/1 Refuse To Sell ,
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: DAHINDAR is the one they all have to beat in the light of his neck second to Jupiter Pluvius at The Curragh. Well supported on the strength of his second to Shining Armour first time out at Fairyhouse, he was beaten a neck by by the easy-to-back Ballydoyle-trained colt who has since confirmed significant potential with a victory in the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes at Leopardstown.
DAhindar looks worthy of a mention here, primarily because of the form tie in with jupiter Pluvius. You can see, I am sure, the close proximity of Coach and Four - perhaps too close to make this an ideal. Each way players could concentrate on Coach and Four I suppose if the betting forecaster has correctly analysed his chances. DAhnidar is 11/10 but yet again we face another big field maiden which is the norm in Ireland. Sticklers, then, can leave this race alone. I would suspect DAhindar will be a good back to lay off at lower prices as he should be involved at the business end
Other potential price gappers include Forest Silver in the 1st at Fontwell, inan , ahem, conditional jockeys novices hurdle - a big break to overcome but those magic words " will be very hard to beat". A small field is a plus, with 2 outsiders narrowing down the rivals, but a no bet for me despite the obvious chance
320 HEXHAM
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Charlie George, 4/1 Mystic Glen, 9/1 Arctic Spirit, 12/1 Teviot Brig, 14/1 Tin Healy´s Pass, 16/1 Crofton Arch, 20/1 Heartofmidlothian, Troodos Jet, 33/1 Captain Murphy, Friedhelmo, Gunson Hight, New Realm, 40/1 Red Dawn, 50/1 Scurry Dancer .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Few that can be given a chance and difficult to get away from CHARLIE GEORGE (nap), who comes here in form and is the one obvious improver in the field. Tin Healy's Pass may be the best each-way alternative.[FC]
Another countdown conundrum - a multiple winner in a handicap , and not just any handicap, but a handicap over the jumps. Obviously fancied for the hatrick today and those good words " difficult to get away from" as well as napped as the best bet of the meeting. This is a big field though and Mystic Glen is in close attendance price wise. THe positives are the number of horses in double figures which indicates few that can come into this race.
300 MUSS
BETTING FORECAST: 10/11 Double Banded, 9/2 Rehearsed, 6/1 Greenwich Meantime, 8/1 Dzesmin, Gee Dee Nen, 20/1 King Of The Moors, Trance .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Unless this is one trip too many to the well, DOUBLE BANDED (nap) should extend his winning run on turf to five. Rehearsed, with her excellent win record, and Greenwich Meantime are feared most.[PJ]Double banded has won 4 on turf in handicap company - winning sequences always end and I won't be entertaining a bet on DOuble banded today because he has already won 4. I may be a race too early, who knows, but it is difficult to keep a sequence going in handicap company because of the increased weight concessions with each new run, unless of course the horse is dropping in class.
755 WOLVES
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Encores, 11/2 Northern Boy, 6/1 Carlitos Spirit, 8/1 Nok Twice, 9/1 Spanish Needle, 12/1 Winged Farasi, 14/1 Four Tel, 20/1 Ten To The Dozen, Tyrannosaurus Rex, 25/1 Split Briefs, 33/1 Kensington, Regal Royale .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Analysis of the sectional times of the race ENCORES (nap) won at Kempton confirms that the result underplays his superiority there given the turn of foot he showed in a steadily run affair and he will take a deal of beating. Carlito’s Spirit showed enough last time to think he will win a race at some stage if kept to the AW.[GN]
Jamie Spencer on board and those words " will take a deal of beating" - the one negative is the field size but I think Encores would be THE one so far for me as far as price gappers are concerned .Currently 9/4 with Northern Boy's price clipped a tad, this is a slight negative, although these enhanced odds make Encores more appealing
I have just noticed that Seb Sanders is onboard Northern Boy which may account for the support as these 2 are neck and neck for the title
825 WOLVES
BETTING FORECAST: 13/8 Points Of View, 7/1 Suzi Spends, 8/1 Moment´s Notice, Titfer, 10/1 Title Role, 12/1 Elusive Deal, Eternal Optimist, Melwood Dreams, Ten Pole Tudor, 25/1 Kiwi Princess, 33/1 Duke Of Touraine, Imperial Decree, 40/1 Karky Schultz .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Points Of View will be popular in his bid for a quick hat-trick but will find things more difficult under a double penalty in a slightly better race and this could come a bit quickly after his Wednesday win. There could be value in taking him on with TITLE ROLE, who comes from a race which has worked out well and looks capable of better than he has shown so far.[FC]ANother head scratcher - multiple handicap winner carrying a double penalty - again the presence of Seb Sanders will ensure support when he, or Spencer, ride a market leader, but the question arises - will this horse win again ? Does he have one more win left before the inevitable end of his handicap winning sequence. The added presence of Seb SAnders may skew the odds and not give a true reflection of the horses price as analysed by its price

Again, difficult price gappers today. We are at a disadvantage with these as they HAVE to win to see a return but the each way bets have to place to see a partial, or full, return of stake money.
EACH WAYS
1 place and 2 wins yesterday were very pleasing indeed, and I hope this consistency continues. Obviously less risk with these selections and the potential for bigger priced winners than the price gappers.
140 FONTWELL
BETTING FORECAST: 5/2 River Indus, 7/2 Castlemore, Lusaka De Pembo, 6/1 Follow Your Heart, 7/1 Almizan, 12/1 Alderbrook Girl, 14/1 Big Al, 50/1 Lapidaie .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: None of these are bullet-proof but RIVER INDUS was in good form before a summer break and would have been an even more impressive winner of his latest start but for a final fence blunder. Castlemore should be staying on late and can reach the frame again.[SR]3 perceived outsiders here narrow the field down to 5, 3 of whom will place ( all things being equal - cue Big Al win !) River Indus is not an each way price - 2 miles 6 means he's no sure thing leaving us with 4 horses to chose from for an each way tickle in this 8 runner field. It's simply a matter of guessing and hoping now and I will chance Lusaka De Pembo , 3rd in betting forecast to be competitive for a place.
240 FONTWELL
BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Blackbriery Thyne, 11/4 Methodical, 5/1 Papeete, 6/1 Jades Double, 9/1 Joli Classical, 12/1 Are You There, 20/1 Annie Fleetwood, 33/1 Satin Starlight .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Methodical's recent effort sets a fair standard, but BLACKBRIERY THYNE promises to do better now that she tackles the larger obstacles and can start her chase career with a win.[SR]Why is annie Fleetwood 10/1 in the early betting ( check out the betting forecaster's quote!) -an 8 runner race - 2 outsiders. This is not a normal each way selection but is put in in the hope this is a stable gamble - as you know 10/1 is a little too high for my usual each way selections
410 FONTWELL
BETTING FORECAST: 11/4 Bill Owen, River Amora, 3/1 Abutilon, 7/2 Batchworth Beau, 20/1 Layasar, The Iron Giant, 33/1 Green Gamble, 50/1 Pitton Prince .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: BILL OWEN, up in the weights but still 2lb lower than his highest winning mark (in his heyday three years ago), has plenty going for him and may have the edge on course specialist River Amora, who can reverse course running with Abutilon.[FC]Layasar's absence means the bookies will only pay out 2 the place, but BEtfair will pay 3. A 4 horse race here so take your pick - remember we're llokoking firstly for a place, and secondly for a hopeful win. BAtchworth BEau for me. No bet with the bookies but I'd chance the place/win on BEtfair
150 HEXHAM
BETTING FORECAST: Evs Tot O´Whiskey, 9/4 Ten Carat, 5/1 Mirage Dore, 14/1 Clear The Way, 16/1 Cash Man, Heez A Steel, 33/1 Gee Dee, Gnillish, Ninetyninetreble, 50/1 Compton Eclaire, 100/1 Curran, Happy Boy, High Delight, Steel Man ,
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: This revolves around a recent C&D race which saw TOT O'WHISKEY, Ten Carat and Mirage Dore fill the placings in that order. The exciting winner had something in hand that day and, even on worse terms, can uphold the form.[BDO]3 before 14\1 so it'll be Ten carat each way at an aceptable 7/2 currently.
220 HEXHAM
BETTING FORECAST: 13/8 Ice Tea, 2/1 Ballyvoge, 7/2 Lord Rosskit, 10/1 Toulouse Express, 12/1 Like A Lord, 33/1 Minster Lake, 100/1 Fairfield, Musical Chord .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: ICE TEA boasts the strongest credentials over regulation fences and, over a C&D that suits him well, he can find the reserves to make light of a double penalty. The promising Ballyvoge is an obvious threat.[BDO]Lord Rosskit is the opbvious each way play here, although the more speculative punter could back Toulouse Express and Like a Lord each way incase one of the 3 main market leaders falls or is pulled up over this long distance
730 WOLVES
BETTING FORECAST: 11/8 Mafioso, 9/4 Harbour Blues, 11/4 Loveofmylife, 16/1 Jerry Hamilton, 20/1 Special Feature, 33/1 Aleatricis, 66/1 Astrodome, Jimmy Dean, 100/1 Westwood Dawn .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Loveofmylife is a newcomer to note in the betting but on form this rests between Harbour Blues and MAFIOSO. The possibility that the pair will take one another on for the lead could open things up but Mafioso, the less exposed, will be expected to come out top unless his chance is seriously compromised.[FC]
HArbour Blues is currently 7/2 so is acceptable for me for the each way bet

6 plays today wich I will reduce to the 3 in RED
Annie Fleetwood's there for those who like bigger prices and the potential of a good run from a stale gamble?
