4th November

Frustrating day yesterday thanks to my broadband provider ,who rhymes with Oh Poo!. Hopefully it'll be stable today
105 LEOPARDSTWN
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Poet, 5/1 At All, Mourinho, Rock Critic, 6/1 Takween, 8/1 Lord Rathvinden, 10/1 King Of The Nile, 12/1 Loco Grande, More Time Tim, 14/1 Dunvegan, Prince Shaun, 16/1 Marching Sandy, 20/1 Dr Kildare, Meabhs Star, Norse Spirit, 25/1 Annebrook Flyer, Marceau .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: POET (nap) looks sure to improve from his debut in the maiden won by stablemate Jupiter Pluvius at the Curragh two weeks ago. Though it is very doubtful whether he can step up quite as effectively as Jupiter Pluvius managed in winning Monday's Killavuallan Stakes, the benefit of the run should not be underestimated.\n
Aiden O'Brien short priced fav who has had a run - I'd prefer a more confident write up. A 17 runner maiden, we'll get odds against.
235 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 9/4 Cativo Cavallino, 5/1 Carcinetto, 6/1 Bertie Southstreet, 7/1 Hotham, Twosheetstothewind, 8/1 Sunoverregun, 12/1 Carmenero, 16/1 Buxton, Idle Power .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: CATIVO CAVALLINO (nap), winner of five of his eight starts for John Long, scored impressively at Kempton last time and looks by far the likeliest winner.[AM] Cativo Cavallino Polytrack record this year stands at: 11151, including two from two at this trip; trainer has phenomenal strike-rate with sprint handicappers (10-15 at 7f or less this year) and clearly the one to beat.
Looks an obvious candidate and currently 2/1 with a price gap still there. Still a niggle this is too obvious -superb all weather form - can it continue?

AN unappetising Sunday for these selections, none of which is clear. At least both will be over evens and may be worth chancing, although the shorter place only odds look the obvious place to start
EACH WAYS
100 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 9/4 Spanish Springs, 7/2 Monashee Rock, Oceana Blue, 5/1 Al Aqabah, 7/1 Istria, 10/1 Shesha Bear, 50/1 Lady Docker, 100/1 Les Allues, Tallulah Sunrise.
5 below 10/1. Al Aqabah each way
410 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 2/7 Multakka, 8/1 Imperial Amber, 12/1 Rollin ´n Tumblin, Takaamul, 25/1 Ring Of Charm, 33/1 Batchworth Fleur, Cyril The Squirrel .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: MULTAKKA, while not one for the mortgage money, is still difficult to oppose. Imperial Amber can follow him home.[AM]Imperial AMber each way incase the hot pot folds
QUiet day today - lots of maidens
