6/11

Prince Noel winning -the only saving grace yesterday. Bon Viveur placed, Lets go dutch is probably still running, and I hope you left Mutual Friend alone as suggested.
With the jumps kicking off, I think I will have to be cautious with price gappers as they are, largely debutants and based on reputation
PRICE GAPPERS
230 LING
BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 New York Oscar, 7/2 Ebraam, 8/1 George The Second, Mandarin Spirit, 10/1 Rainbow Mirage, Texas Gold, 16/1 Buy On The Red, 25/1 Compton Classic.
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: NEW YORK OSCAR (nap) was hugely impressive when scoring here last time and with the extra furlong no problem, he ought to complete his hat-trick. Ebraam is the obvious alternative.[
Typical of the conundrums we face today. A short priced multiple winning handicapper installed as short priced fav again - remember weight increases with each successive race win - the sequence will end soon but today? That's the problem - getting the race right . Does he have one more win in him. The early market suggest yes. I am wary of Ebraam although he has gone to 5/1 wit New York Oscar at evens this morning.
Against my better judgement I'll back him today - at least its not obstacles
EACH WAY
Again impressed yesterday with one winner at 4/1 and one unplaced
140 CATTERICK
BETTING FORECAST: 9/2 Stagecoach Topaz, 5/1 Roger´s Revenge, 11/2 Elusive Lady, Generous Boy, 7/1 Traitor´s Gate, 10/1 Graze On And On, San Silvestro, 12/1 Northwest, The Mighty One, 20/1 Sweet Andromeda, 25/1 Carlton Mac, 50/1 Fellrunner, Howe´s Jack.
Why is the Mighty One 5/1 in the morning market? Worth an each way interest incase this is a ggambled on horse

BETTING FORECAST: 9/4 Jim Edwards, 9/2 Kaldouas, 5/1 Mister Apple´s, 11/2 Inaro, 8/1 Notanotherdonkey, 10/1 Gumley Gale, 14/1 Harry Potter, 16/1 Zimbabwe, 25/1 Special Conquest.
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Kaldouas has races in him off his current mark but even with a blunder-free round he might have his work cut out conceding quite so much weight to JIM EDWARDS, who looked one to keep on the right side at Market Rasen.[AWJ]
Jim Edqwards is 3\1 and worth each way support (not ideally priced)

BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 New York Oscar, 7/2 Ebraam, 8/1 George The Second, Mandarin Spirit, 10/1 Rainbow Mirage, Texas Gold, 16/1 Buy On The Red, 25/1 Compton Classic.
FOr those unconvinced that New York OScar can notch the hattrick, Ebraam is the obvious alternative each way

A poor day today - small fields and some price gaps but in wholly unappealing races
