7/6

A day of plentiful opportunities. Remember you only need one a day! Slovakia scored 5 in the first half, and I guess, nailed the half time/full time at 1.16!
Dead or alive did not get beaten by 3 horses in a 4 horse race!
210 SHTL
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Regardless, 7/2 Diamond Affair, 11/2 China Bay, 12/1 Zelos Dream, 14/1 Sisters Warning, Suzys Dream, 20/1 Three Good Friends, 25/1 London Girl.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: There may well be more to come from the likes of Suzys Dream and China Bay, while the betting should give an idea of the newcomers' prospects, but REGARDLESS is likely to prove hard to beat if reproducing the form of her Redcar third on this surface.

Price gapper here again but this is a 5 furlong maiden fillies event - 2 newcomers and 3 one time outers and we have seen already that they can improve drastically. 1.24 to place

220 WORCESTER
BETTING FORECAST: 10/11 Santia, 5/2 Gloucester, 8/1 Morestead, 10/1 Pelennor, 14/1 Don Castille, 20/1 Apache Dawn, 33/1 Alwaysablue, 50/1 Midsummer Bay, Tork To Me, 66/1 Jeanry, 200/1 Perryston Prince,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: The softened ground will not trouble SANTIA (nap) who is the clear form pick. Gloucester is capable of giving her plenty to think about.[SB]

Gloucester is the non runner and was the nearest rival to Santia. This horse is a Thornton/King horse and these guys are great on shorties, but you'll recall that even Robert Thornton can fall from a horse! That's always the risk over the jumps 1.11 to place

230 BRIGHTON
BETTING FORECAST: 13/8 Curtains, 9/4 Pullyourfingerout, 3/1 Ailsa Carmel, 9/1 Ginger Grey, 16/1 Florio Vincitore.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: CURTAINS has solid form, including on this course, and may have the edge over Pullyourfingerout.[FC]

One clear outsider leaving 4 fighting for 2 places. Another maiden alas but Curtains has progressive form and is a " hard to beat" candidate 1.28 to place

310 STHL
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 Aureate, 5/1 Realism, Wind Flow, 6/1 Ozone Trustee, 10/1 Edas, Nawamees, Salute, 33/1 My Bodyguard, Top Tinker,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: A fair race of its type and one in which AUREATE is taken to make it three wins from as many starts on the surface. He's the pick of the weights, has a good attitude and is fancied to confirm recent placings with Realism on these more favourable terms. [

Price gapper in a claimer 1.2 to place

320 WORCESTER
BETTING FORECAST: 7/2 Prince Du Beury, 4/1 Magnifico, 9/2 Right Option, 7/1 Englishtown, 15/2 Prince Zafonic, 8/1 Openide, 10/1 The Good Guy, 12/1 I´m A Legend, 14/1 Cave Of The Giant, 28/1 Carapuce, 33/1 Alfie´s Isle,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Most of these are exposed. Prince Du Beury is a frustrating type and has to prove his stamina. MAGNIFICO is high enough in the handicap again but will find conditions to suit and comes here in good heart

4 left for 3 places? 2nd fav is still involved

350 WORC
BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Othermix, 11/2 Cruchain, 6/1 Manmoon, No Panic, 7/1 Armenian Boy, 14/1 Young Albert, 16/1 Captain Tidds, 20/1 Mam Ratagan, Signs Of Love, 25/1 Cold Mountain, Work Boy, 66/1 Exactly,

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: OTHERMIX looked the likely winner when getting the second-last all wrong at Uttoxeter on his chasing debut (had jumped pretty soundly before that) and is taken to make amends. Cruchain, who was disappointing in that race, shouldn't be written off, while Armenian Boy is entitled to some respect on his hurdles form

Would you take odds on about a horse who has fallen, pulled up and unseated in his last 3 runs? All we need for a full suit is to see Frank on board!! 1.25 to place

405 WEXFORD
BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Coffee Tea Or Me, 7/2 End Of The Affair, 4/1 Gerbera, Turf War, 5/1 Green Tobasco, 12/1 Royal Debs, 33/1 Rolling Steel, 50/1 Wontfools Befools.

2 horses are at 100/1 bringing the field down to 5, 3 to place 1.21 to place and 3 places

500 BRIGHTON
BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Billy Beetroot, 3/1 Imaginary Diva, 7/2 Zelos Girl, 5/1 Louie´s Lad, 8/1 Rapanui Belle, 16/1 Ice Attack.

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Billy Beetroot put up one of his better efforts last time but it might be worth chancing ZELOS GIRL on her 2yo form after making a belated reappearance in better company at Newmarket recently. Imaginary Diva and Louie's Lad are preferred of the others.[EMW]

Billy Beetroot has been a selection previously for me, and his form reads 22332. Concern over only 2 places. Ryan Morre an eyecatching booking 1.7 to place is a huge price

FOOTBALL
17:00 Nigeria vs Kenya 1/6
Would want to see a solid Nigeria side here with all the stars in it.This is NOT a friendly but a World Cup qualifier so Nigeria should prevail 1.19 to win

18:00 Argentina Youth vs U.A.E. Youth 4/11

A tournament fraught with unpredictability, but surely the Argies have too much here? 1.37 to win

TENNIS
I've profitted twice with Fed on his way to this final and he has obliged. 1.28 is tempting again. I suspect the price will rise considerably in running and Fed to prevail. As I have been arguing, this is his moment with Nadal nowhere to be seen. If not now, when?

SHORTLIST

220 WORCESTER - Santia 1.11 to place - right jockey,2nd fav out but 1.11 over obstacles is a short price

230 BRIGHTON - Curtains 1.28 to place. A bit of a risk as it is a 5 runner field with 2 places and a maiden race. BUT one outsider who should be discounted. One horse at 11/1 leaves 3 horses hopefully. Curtains is 332 which is progressive form.Seb Sanders on board

320 WORCESTER - 4 runners and 3 places just like yesterday. Click on the screenshot for your options.
MAgnifico was 2nd fav in the original 14 runner race and fav here. Englishtown has AP McCoy on board. Surely AP will NOT let 3 horses beat him in a 4 horse race ( all this presumes no fallers, unseat riders or pulled up)

NIGERIA are 1.19 and look solid if the big guns are up ( and why shouldn't they be -this is a Wolrd Cup qualifier!)
FEDERER - do we trust Federer to finish the job today. He has already come in twice for me at 1.28. Odds will hinge on who wins the first set. He was 2 sets down to Del Potro and won ( it is 5 sets after all)

ONE A DAY
Must be the 320 Worcester again surely -same as yesterday 4 runners and 3 places. I would likely go with Magnifico on the basis he was 2nd fav in the original 14 runner event.Again the price is terrible but we are looking for bets where it would be a shock if they didn't come in.
