10/10

*****ONE A DAY - 330pm - Belgium U19 v Albania U19 - Back Belgium under 19 at 1.19 - It is Albania's draw against Leichtenstein which stands out like a sore thumb and should give us a clue as to their general ability ( or lack thereof)*****

From a horse racing perspective, it is another case of market movers today, and this is to be expected early season with expensive jumps purchases, bumper horses taking on the jumps for the first time, bumper horses running for the first time, and horses changing stables .

Running late alas thanks to broadband down all morning.

130pm - Cyprus U19 v England U19 - 1.11 away. +2.5 to +3 asian handicaps and in running should signal a comfortable England victory - England's only losses in last 12 against Spain and Holland.
2pm -
Panthrakikos v Ionikos - 1.35 home - too tight in scorelines to be backable at 1.35
230pm -
Andorra U19 v Switzerland U19 - 1.06 away - goals!! - only match odds and over 2.5 goals on offer on betfair.
3pm -
Austria U19 v San Marino U19 - 1.03 home - remember Hungary v San Marino - same price and 8-0 win! as above . Would love to have bet a goals bet.
330pm -
Belgium U19 v Albania U19 - 1.19 home -+2 TO +2.5 goals in asian handicaps a positive signal in this in running match. Drawing against the likes of Leichtenstein should give you an idea of where Albania are.
Germany, Portugal, Croatia and Denmark are the only losses for Belgium in last 12.

320 FFOS LAS
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4
Mediolanum, 9/2 Bens Moor, Silver Token, 7/1 Whereveryougoigo, 8/1 Rash Call, 10/1 Jump Up, 16/1 Littledean Jimmy, 25/1 Call Me Bill.

DIOMED VERDICT: Silver Token has the best hurdles form but there is not a lot of that and the bumper winners look a promising bunch, particularly the £100,000 purchase MEDIOLANUM.

Front 2 interesting as is Jump up, the latter a possible market mover. Fav is a bumper winner - chance the £100,000 price tag signals some ability? 8 runners and 3 places. 1.35 to place - it's a case of having faith in market movers

400 LIMERICK
BETTING FORECAST: 5/2
Son Amix, Sweet My Lord, 4/1 Gimli´s Rock, 5/1 Cross Appeal, 7/1 Sounds Of Jupiter, 12/1 Politeo, 33/1 Flying Bella, Sanforized, 200/1 Topix.

6 horses and 3 places . Faith in Ruby's Sweet my Lord to place? 1.31 to place for Sweet my lord in a simple 50/50 race.

505 FFOS LAS
BETTING FORECAST: 3/1 Calypso Bay, 5/1 Scotsbrook Cloud, 11/2 Lucky Pearl, 8/1 Brave Bugsy, Saddlewood, 10/1 Plenty Of Chat, 12/1 Stafford Charlie, 16/1 Abulharith, Flag Flier, Prince Massini, Treasury Counsel, 33/1 Paradise Ally.

DIOMED VERDICT: Calypso Bay is worthy of plenty of respect after an improved display last time but it would be no surprise to see SCOTSBROOK CLOUD go well on his first start since being claimed by David Evans.

Big market move for Scotsbrook Cloud into 2/1 and all red.
Joined new stable - enough reason for a potential gamble?

540 FFOS LAS
BETTING FORECAST: 11/4 Pontyates, 100/30 Youralltalk, 6/1 Just Dave, Sothisisit, 7/1 Sir Mattie, 8/1 Sertao, 12/1 Charles, 14/1 Redbridge Flyer.

DIOMED VERDICT: As always with this type of contest, the market will provide some important clues but SIR MATTIE looks an interesting contender. Youralltalk and Pontyates are both expected to go well too.

Sertao is a massive mover into 2/1 all red for this bumper . And bumpers are known as gambling races.

SHORTLIST
130pm - Cyprus U19 v England U19 - 1.11 away - 1.27 over 2.5 goals if the asian handicap market is right. England are away though so perhaps faith just in match odds?

330pm - Belgium U19 v Albania U19 - 1.19 home - Albania's drawing with Leichtenstein gives me confidence that Belgium should get something out of this.

320 FFOS LAS would be based solely on logic - a horse with a £100,000 price tag must have some promise? Purely a bet based on this info rather than jumping form in the book. Mediolanum is 1..35 to place. I would equate it to backing a maiden with one piece of form against similarly profiled others

505 and 540 FFOS LAS are both gambles - the latter in a bumper where we would need to check the betting market. These gambles were generally ok from a place only perspective yesterday.
