10/12

Apologies for no blog yesterday - I ran out of patience with the broadband which was affected by the weather conditions here ( I think!)
Well Man Utd's 1.79 for over 3.5 goals came in nicely. Got the correct score in the Chelski match although they decided to break a habit of a lifetime and win at half time! The Newcastle unders could have been salvaged thanks to the 90th minute goal and market makers thinking there wouldn't be a 90th minute goal!
The dutch of the Hatton fight came off when Ricky was knocked out in the 10th round - a very good bet!Kilcrea Castle was a faller who remounted and came nowhere - that's jumps racing. Just pour it finished 3rd for each way backers Elevith echo was beaten into 2nd place by a short head which was disappointing. Our Kes put up a great fight against Confidentiality who was just far too good (again!)
The Tother One won for the hard to beat system and in the Tingle Creek I chose the wrong each way selection - Twist magic won and ashley Brook unplaced

200 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: Evs Maybe I Wont, 4/1 Desert Life, 8/1 Little Finch, 10/1 La Varrosa, Zahwah, 12/1 Chemise, 16/1 Fraamington, 20/1 Joshua, 33/1 Just Mossie .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Some of these are unlikely to ever find a race and MAYBE I WONT, who has a C&D success to his name and comes here in a bit of form, looks the safest option. Desert Life may prove the biggest danger now back at this trip.Short price in a seller - we can oppose each way because the short price will inflate other prices. Only 2 horses under 10/1 and Desert Life looks the obvious each way candidate

1220 MUSSELBURGH
BETTING FORECAST: 9/4 Tucker, 11/4 Nanton, 8/1 Knight Valliant, Run To Space, Yachvili, 10/1 Montchara, 12/1 Super Cris, 25/1 Rory´s Star, 33/1 Devil Water, Hunting Haze, 50/1 Modarab .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Those that have raced over hurdles look distinctly ordinary and one of the above-average recruits from the Flat may well prove equal to the task. TUCKER is easily the most talented and the switch to hurdling could reawaken his enthusiasm. Nanton is an obvious dangeA maiden hurdle where, by default, I can take on the market leader who normally doesn't win in these race types. 4 horses are 25/1 or bigger .NAnton at 7/2 morning prices looks worth each way support
320 MUSS
Not an official bet, but I've noticed when Miss R Davidson rides market leaders they generally run very well. Broadway star is 2nd favourite here and could be a place only bet
FOOTY

Expect Swansea to revert to type this evening and win comfortably against Horsham who have had their day in the sun on a sodden pitch holding the Swans to 1-1 on their turf.
Over 2.5 goals will enhance the odds for a 1/8 on shot
