23/8

Celtic and Arsenal both produced and I think the only horse unplaced was Zafar under the 7lb claimer so plenty of opportunity to get back on track. My one a day was said Celtic/Arsenal double

115 DEAVILLE - Frankie onboard Schieparelli at 1/4 should oblige - no place market and going purely by prices as no form write up

200 NA
BETTING FORECAST: 1/2 Mission Control, 5/1 Occasionally Yours, 15/2 Tiger O´Toole, 14/1 Dunbrody House, 20/1 Classic Fly, Kyoto, 25/1 Fairly Glorious, 33/1 Levantine, Pennyrock, 50/1 Whatalotofbuts.

DIOMED VERDICT: This looks an easier assignment than the one MISSION CONTROL took in his stride when making it two out of two over hurdles over C&D last time the hat-trick is firmly on the cards.

One a day selection in one of his recent wins, 1/4 again here and expected to perform for the strong Vaughan - as with the failing horse yesterday, 7lb claimer takes over from Richard Johnson - so faith in his ability is the key here 1.12 to place - the concern is this new jockey

250 DEAUVILLE
CAnford Cliffs has the travelling Richard Hughes onboard for Hannon
1/2 presently 1.22 on Betfair to be placed and 1.5 for the win looks massive in comparison

255 CORK
BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 Raise Your Heart, 5/2 Dreamy Gent, 5/1 Silver Jaro, 8/1 Conna Castle, 10/1 Definate Spectacle, 33/1 Moscow Breeze, 50/1 My Lord Oscar, 100/1 Sheupshedownshe.

Geraghty v Walsh here at Cork? 1.2 and 1.43 the front 2 to place

325 CORK
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 For The Staff, 9/2 Just Moscow, 7/1 Golden Alou, 8/1 Baily Bridge, Present Diamonds, 10/1 Tuscany Star, 14/1 Augosto, Rustic Gold, 20/1 Curragh Mountain, 25/1 Bendare Dundat, Bon Camino, Cartageno Directa, 33/1 Clare Rover, Glencarrigbrook, The Blondie Man, 50/1 Mynativehall, O Crotaigh, 66/1 Lovely Woman.

Typical Walsh /Mullins now 1/2 in places 1.15 in an illiquid market

340 FOLK
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 Assabiyya, 3/1 Full Of Nature, 6/1 It´s Dubai Dolly, 13/2 Ballyalla, 9/1 Fanditha, Hallingdal,

DIOMED VERDICT: ASSABIYYA (nap) created a good impression at Windsor on her debut and she may be open to enough improvement to defy a mark of 85.

4 runners now and the NAP is still fav at 1/2 1.17 v enticing here in this 50/50 race

430 NA
BETTING FORECAST: 11/8 Ghizao, 2/1 Yorkshire Knight, 7/2 Danimix, 20/1 Cloak Of Silence, Maelstrom Sea, 33/1 All But Beat, Passive Interest, 40/1 Manics Man, 100/1 Be My Bubble, Fenella Mere,

DIOMED VERDICT: Danimix is comfortably ahead of the others that have run but GHIZAO and Yorkshire Knight are two very interesting newcomers.

All the big boys on tthe 3 under 20/1 BUT this is a bumper so market must ve viewed nearer the off 1.4 , 1.31, 1.34 the front 3 to place but not much money in the market

455 CORK
BETTING FORECAST: 6/4 Moonreach, 7/4 Miss Faustina, 6/1 Boragh Jamal, 10/1 No Acting, 14/1 Don´t Linger, 16/1 Loughderg Princess, 20/1 Siamsa Beirte, 25/1 Cool Knight, The Educator, Zuravia, 33/1 Big Bad Billy Bob, Red Breast, 50/1 Antonius Park, Captain Coke,

Moonreach is out surely opeing things up for Miss FAustina albeit in a big field maiden in a rainy Ireland 1.18 to place

FOOTBAll

130 sees 2 1/6 shots in Holland with Ajax and Twente, both of whom had their scoring boots on with easy victories mid week at 1/5 and 1/3 -now both 1/6 can we expect similar performances?
Twente's opponents have let in 11 and scored 1 in 3 games which leads me to think they have come up from the Juliper league.
Twente have only been winning with 1-0's recently which is discouraging
Ajax's game looks great from a goalscoring perspective after the epic 4-3 with PSV (which they lost) but they have scored 4 and 2 in their last 2 games conceding only 1.
Sparta have lost 2-0 to the likely dominant forces AZ and Twente - the latter result can give us an idea of likely score today
Everton are 5/4 away at Burnley and frankly, I don't think that lightning strikes twice. The Man Utd team chosen was simply wrong and complacent and I don't think we'd be seeing 9/4 Burley if Carrick had scored that penalty
Man Utd showed their true colours at Wigan and Everton dispatched mid week Europa league opposition with ease. 5/4 is massive for Everton and 9/4 is layable for Burnley
Bordeaux are 4/9 at home and opposition should be laid as Bordeaux's home record last season was LOST NONE
Ditto Inter Milan as Jose continues to keep the home record in tact against Bari 2/9 is worth taking now they have etoo in the ranks - what a striker ! I know who I'd prefer between him and Zlatan
16:30 Werder Bremen vs Borussia M'gladbach 4/9
Chance on over 2.5 goals after mid week 6-3 scoreline in Europa league
20:15 Porto vs Nacional 1/3
Another side with a superb home record last season and priced to continue in that vein
21:00 Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao 1/5
Lost 1-0 to Man City mid week in an ultimately meaningless game where Barce changed many players throughout - they hit the post and crossbar during that match and Ibrahimovic looked a little green .
Manager has made the right noises here at the start of this season that he wants silverware to send out a message

SHORTLIST
340 FOLKSTONE - ASsibiya could be worth a gamble in a 50/50 race at 1.17 to place
Laying Burnley at 4.1 is the same as a 1.30 back bet and is very enticing given we are in running too - huge over reaction to Man Utd result in my opinion. Everton have not gone bad over night
Nice 10.5 to lay in the Bordeaux game - perhaps over 1.5 goals too as Bordeaux are full of scoring -1.35 and in running
Inter 1.24 to win and should oblige - always risky with start of season but I like their forward line - that boy Et'oo could have a future as a forward
ONE A DAY
Assibiyya would be my one a day with a 12/1 horse amongst the 3 opponents and 1.17 looking decent enough. Ted Durcan on for Frankie who's in France
Football wise, Inter Milan at 1.24 are my ones and a stronger bet than this horse one above in my view.
