7/12

Its Moon won, although the price was not the 7/2 in the betting forecast, but a win's a win!
I should have more confidence in AP McCoy regardless of the weather as he lifted Nacadour over the line! Well what can I say about Rapscallion? Looking all out the winner coming to the final fence only to be run out of it by a lose horse. Nothing he could have done at all there and ,well, that's racing!
Pop came 2nd

Very happy with Tom Paris placing for each way backers at 8/1 - stakes saved!
Congratulations to Bolton -the red star lay came good - I couldn't find team news anywhere but really should not have bet without it to be honest. - I won this time but am reminded of Getafe a week ago fielding a weak side and getting trounced at home

No Jonny Murtagh at Dundalk this evening is a pity - he has been superb at Ireland's all weather venue.
George Bernard Shaw may be worth a bet in the first - preference for place only though for me.

Soft, heavy in places at Exeter spells trouble!
245 EXETER
BETTING FORECAST: 5/4 Planet Of Sound, 100/30 Sovereign King, 7/2 King Caine, 16/1 Kikos, Mister Gloss, Posh Emily, 20/1 Charming Oscar, 25/1 Award Winning, Bud White, Garleton, Itstooearly, 40/1 Oscar Bay.

An interesting morning market with 7 horses priced 33/1 or bigger and Spotlight telling us there is a lot of dead wood here. Soveriegn King for a place - at 9/4 not an each way price under Choc Thornton looks primed

LINGFIELD
All weather surface so no ground concerns
330 LINGFIELD
BETTING FORECAST: 3/1 Sgt Schultz, 7/2 Chocolate Caramel, 4/1 Generous Lad, 5/1 Pass The Port, 8/1 Know The Law, 10/1 Willhego, 14/1 Shimoni, 16/1 Petrovich .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Most of these have question marks surrounding them and perhaps SGT SCHULTZ, who has done all his winning over C&D, could prove the safest option. Chocolate Caramel and Shimoni could prove best of the rest.
A tight market - can we dismiss the 3 in double figures? The early market suggests so. Any one of 5 then, and GEnerous LAd each way for me

SANDOWN
HEavy ground!
120
BETTING FORECAST: 11/10 Oscar D´Angron, 9/2 Rajam, 5/1 Harringay, 6/1 Burren Legend, 7/1 Aldiruos, 40/1 Monzon .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Oscar d'Angron is 8lb ahead of the handicapper but it has to be a concern that he has yet to win a race and ALDIROUS could represent value against him.[FC]Oscaar now 4/5, but I will chance level stakes on Rajam, Harringay andAldirous, or lay the fav at likely short prices in testing ground

WOLVERHAMPTON NIGHT RACING
755 WOLVES
BETTING FORECAST: Evs Applauded, 11/4 Ceka Dancer, 8/1 Jazenio, 12/1 Inontime, 14/1 Gayanula, 20/1 Naming Problems, 25/1 La Belle Joannie, Spitfire Jane, 33/1 Broughtons Flight, Hollow Dream, Nodservatory .
SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: APPLAUDED and Ceka Dancer stand out on form. Preference goes to the former, who has shaped with promise in maidens and will find this less daunting than her latest tilt at Group 2 companyA maiden fillies race - yes I need my head examined! Ceka Dancer makes some appeal at 11/4 though ,despite not being an each way price ,still the horse looks worth chancing in case Applauded fluffs her lines or her mind is on shopping .
FOOTY

I've been taken by Nantes performance in French league 2, and a mug punter treble with Standard Liege and PSV may bump up the odds. All teams are heavy odds on, BUT more importantly, all play at home.
Prepare to laugh out loud as another of my famous mug punter accas bites the dust !
Decent away form for Besiktas in the Turkish league make them interesting at 11/10, although the price suggests this will be tight.
