8/1

Hibiki won well with the 2 selections outdone for the places by 200/1 and 66/1 shots - that's soft ground !
MEalagh Valley came in at 3/1. I was right to oppose Cragganmore Creek - Mid Valley came 2nd for the place beaten by the one eyed Zaffeu at 25/1.

Group CAptain won as his price told us he would for the shortest priced betting forecast fav. Today's is in the 320 LEicester - Fleet Street at 1/2 - yes unexciting prices but what do you expect for a system which requires no effort at all!

BElenenses match ended under 2.5 goals but alas Torquay's game finished 2-1

100 SEDGEFIELD

BETTING FORECAST: 7/4 Cornerback, Overbranch, 9/2 Riodan, 7/1 Tigerific, 10/1 Bobatim, 25/1 Gibboghstown, 33/1 Camelia Walk, Cute N You Know It, Prioryjo, 66/1 Bluebell Flyer, Lady Delilah, Mini Minster, 100/1 Bleak Friday, Ivegill.

HEavy ground at Sedgefield - 2 favs at 7/4 - I'll chance Bobatim each way just before the potential outsiders

1240 SOUTHWELL

BETTING FORECAST: 3/1 Silver Hotspur, 7/2 Cape Of Storms, 9/2 Mickleberry, 10/1 Pappas Image, Shava, 12/1 Temtation, 14/1 Astorygoeswithit, Shadow Jumper, Smash N´Grab, 25/1 Jember Red, Nabra .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: A race like this ought to be within the grasp of CAPE OF STORMS judged on his close seconds in C&D maidens on his last two starts and he is preferred to Silver Hotspur.[AC]

Mickleberry each way just before the double figures - 3 at the head of the market look the ones to concentrate on

110 SOUTHWELL

BETTING FORECAST: 2/1 Wodhill Gold, 7/2 Krakatau, 11/2 Ours, Sir Bond, 10/1 Justcallmehandsome, Speed Dial Harry, 20/1 Passionately Royal, Soldier Field, 25/1 Sea Frolic, 33/1 Ali D, Cape Dancer, 50/1 Inflagrantedelicto .

SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Wodhill Gold is trying to emulate his feats here early last year when winning this race after finishing second on New Year's Day and looks sure to go close, but KRAKATAU is also of plenty of interest returning to the C&D of his only success and with Chris Catlin taking over from an apprentice.[AC]

Wodhill Gold place only looks worthy of support here given half the field are 20/1 or over

Over 2.5 goals looks the call for Swansea's game today - they have been scoring freely in the league and BRighton have been conceding freely .
Again, one eye on trading

Chelsea v Everton could be a good under 2.5 goal call given their past history and Everton's solidity these days. We are helped by African Cup of nations absentees in KAlou and Drogba upfront which is welcome for unders backers.

Again we have the old " Chelsea never lose at home" maxim which may lead to laying Everton in the match odds market

RAngers looks worth supporting in the half time/full time market away to St Mirren, with odds around 10/11 preferable to 1/3.
