Inter are full of goals at home and 1.4 does not quite suggest 5 today. Both teams have scored in 4 of last 5.
LEAGUE POSITION - 2nd v 19th - contrasting form.
HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Inter
RECENT HOME FORM - LLWWWDWW - a sticky start at home has seen Inter galvanised.Worryingly poor form at home against bottom sides, 2-2, 1-0 win, 0-2 loss against bottom 4, and playing 2nd bottom today.
RECENT FORM OVERALL - WLWLWWWWWWWLDLWWL - a lack of recent form sees just 2 wins in last 6. Last 2 losses were 1-0 aways and last 3 losses were aways
GOAL TRENDS - 63% overs at home. Inter have scored first in 5 of 8 home matches. The opponent has only led in 1 of 8 home matches.
STREAKS - no defeat in 6 at home. Have scored in last 6 at home.
AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Genoa
RECENT AWAY FORM - LWDLLLWL - 2 wins away both 0-1 against 3rd and 12th
RECENT OVERALL FORM - WLLWDDDLLLLLLWLLD - only 3 wins all season . Only played 1 of top 6, winning 0-1.
GOAL TRENDS - 25% overs away, scoring only 0.63 away. Genoa concede most 2nd half so if an early stalemate, faith in Inter?Only 1 clean sheet in last 11 for Genoa
STREAKS - 5 away without a draw
CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - I am worried with Inter's performances at home against bottom 4 sides. It is not good at all. In head to heads though, they score bucket loads at home against Genoa. Is that, and overall decent form, enough for us to have confidence in Inter? There are no really strong value angles in here. I suppose if you want to speculate , then over 4.5 goals in the hope the Inter of head to heads turns up today?
12pm - Thailand v Singapore - 1.56 home - Thailand are 3-1 down from the first leg in a match I thought would be characteristically tight. Thailand must score 2 to no reply bare minimum to stay in this Final. Not conceding is a priority and home advantage to count? Tough to call this one but it must be said that home advantage was a key for Singapore. Would they have got the penalty in the 9th minute if playing away from Singapore.
Thailand have won their last 8 matches at home. I have been to the last 2 matches where they scored 5 and conceded just the one.
As I mentioned in the first leg, head to heads suggested a tight match but the dynamic now makes this a one off match. The bookies have Thailand really short priced. I expect a sell out crowd and may even go to this game tonight before I return to Guernsey for Christmas.
Lay Singapore? Their need for goals is not as great. It's a toughie to call-Thailand must score 2 ( 3 ideally)

The Wigan win last time was more out of desparation than a realistic form chance. Goal laden matches when the Arse visit Wigan . A clean sheet for the Arse last time out not necessarily the norm
LEAGUE POSITION - 18th v 5th - a win takes Arsenal 3rd pending the performance of 3rd and 4th today
HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Wigan
RECENT HOME FORM - LDLDWLWLD - losing alternate matches of late suggests inconsistencies. Have lost 0-2 at home to 2nd and 3rd and have conceded 2 at home to all top 10 sides
RECENT FORM OVERALL - LWDLLLDLWWLLWLLDL - 2 of 4 wins all season have come at home.
GOAL TRENDS - have scored in all bar 2 matches at home ( chelsea and Man City) - 78% overs - remember conceding 2+ v top 10! No clean sheets at home and only 2 all seasonVery vulnerable in last 1/4 hour of 1st half and last 1/2 hour of 2nd half
STREAKS - Have conceded in last 9 at home and last 7 overall
AWAY TEAM - past fixtures -forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Arsenal - no major injuries - I'd like to see Walcott play
RECENT AWAY FORM - DWDWLLDDW - defeats away to United and Norwich ( 1-0 - the kind of scoreline Wigan would love, and could be capable of!) - have let loose agianst Liverpool, West Ham and Reading latterly.
RECENT OVERALL FORM - DDWWDLWLWLDWDDLWW - only 1 defeat in 7 now for the Arse and 2 match winning streak albeit West Brom and Reading. I suppose we can lump Wigan in with that.
GOAL TRENDS - 33% overs away from home - solid defence - just as Wigan are weak in the final 1/4 hour of halves, so Arsenal score most goals away in final 1/4 hour of halves. Arse have only failed to score in 3 of last 15
STREAKS - 3 away without defeat
CONCLUSION/NOTES/STANDOUT STATS - the Wigan win last H2H was all about survival for them and the previous head to heads see real Arsenal dominance. Wigan have conceded 2 goals against all top 10 at home and this could continue, now Arse have scored 2 and 5 in their last 2 matches. This suggests that the Wigan goal trend might dominate. 1-0 I would suggest would be Wigan's only method of winning. They lost 0-2 v 2nd and 3rd - could Arsenal keep a clean sheet?
3pm - Man City v Reading - 1.16 home - I am not going to research this heavily , suffice to say City must win home matches now they are behind Man Utd, City suffered a home defeat , only one of the season and are highly unlikely to lose 2 on the trot at home.
City have not won in 2 at home, so that is greater incentive.City average 2.33 at home. and have scored in all homes. 3+ goals scored at home v bottom sides and 1.16 as you know suggests 3/4 goals and a possible win to nil. I would not necessarily be taken by the clean sheet today given City's reputation and that Reading have scored 3 and 2 against United and Arsenal ( albeit at home).
6 defeats now for REading is unlikely to end today . They will be eyeing future matches for their points.
I would like to see Tevez playing instead of Mario" I left my sole braincell in San Fransisco" Ballotelli as that could ensure goals.
City have scored in all home matches so if an extended ( and unlikely) 0-0 , then let's get stuck in.
3pm - Newcastle v QPR - 2.14 home - 'Arry got the win for QPR and they could really push on now.

Harry's arrival may negate importance of recent head to heads which suggest tight matches
LEAGUE POSITION - 15th v 19th -both teams urgently need points.
HOME TEAM - -past fixtures, forthcoming fixtures and likely team - Newc - 5 injuries still and I think during Xmas Newcastle might be vulnerable when a big squad is a necessity in a busy schedule
RECENT HOME FORM - WDWLWLLWL - only 1 win in last 4 and the Biffa Bacon's might be getting a little restless.Defeats v West Ham, Swans and Man City. All bar an Aguero goal was scored before the 38th minute. The suggestion is the NEwcastle play a tight early match at home. Of the bottom sides, beat Wigan 3-0 at home as recently as 3rd December
